Specifications
- Panel A Dimensions: 23 5/8 x 11 inches
- Panel B Dimensions: 12 3/5 x 6/7 inches

FAQ
- Q: Can the panels be installed on curved walls?
- A: Yes, the panels are super flexible and can be placed on curved walls, bending smoothly around internal and external corners.
- Q: What surfaces are suitable for mounting the Acoustic Wood Panels?
- A: The panels can be placed on any surface including walls, ceilings, kitchen facades, concrete, brick, drywall, plywood, etc.
Dimensions
- Each box contains two panels – inner and outer slabs. Each part consists of PET Polyester fabric (Felt) with mounted MDF strips and a natural wood veneer surface on it. When installed, it has a 94 ½ x 23 5/8 inches dimension.
- The flexible panel design allows you to frame columns, countertops, kitchen islands, or other interior elements without much effort.
- Panel A (inner slab) measures 11 x 94 ½ inches. Panel A is designed to mate discreetly with Panel B and has a small amount of felt on one side to mate with similar panels. Part B (outer slab) measures 12 3/5 x 94 ½ inches. The edge of Panel B was designed to form a smooth, neat end to the installed structure.
- The wood slats are 1 x 94 ½ inches and spaced ½ inches apart.
- The felt, where the slats are installed, is 1/3 inches thick. The total thickness of the Acoustic Wood Panel is 6/7 inches. These panels will join next to each other seamlessly.
Installation recommendations and limitations
Vertically or horizontally?
These panels can be put up either sideways or upright, giving you options to
make your room look bigger or longer. Just remember that if you go sideways,
you’ll have to give it slightly more attention, such as wiping off dust and
dirt more often.
Interior or exterior?
The Acoustic Wood Panels come with a felt backing made from recycled plastic. This fibrous, porous material can retain water and, in high humidity, can promote mould growth. Hence, we advise against using Acoustic Wood Panels outdoors or in humid environments such as house facades, bathrooms, or laundry rooms. However, they’re perfectly suitable for installation in hallways, living rooms, kitchens, bedrooms, and other indoor areas.
Recommendations about the surface and its conditions
Before installation, ensure the surface is clean and dry to prevent mould and
protect the wall from damage. When using screws, make sure that there are no
electrical wires, water, or heating pipes in the fastening areas
Acoustic Wood Panels can be placed on any surface and at any angle (walls,
ceilings, kitchen facades, concrete, brick, drywall, plywood, etc.) Plus, our
panels are super flexible, so feel free to put them on curved walls, bending
smoothly around internal and external corners.
Cutting tips: We recommend a sharp saw to cut through the slats and felt widthways. You can use a sharp knife to cut lengthways through the felt
Installation types
There are three main types of the installation.
- Using Adhesives: Liquid nails or similar PL construction mastic will firmly fix your panels on a wall. Ideal for plasterboards, plywood, drywall, or concrete walls. For ceiling – we recommend to fix panels with screws additionally.
- Pros: Easy and quick mounting, no drill needed.
- Cons: Ensure you use compatible and non-toxic adhesives. Otherwise, this may lead to the panels not fitting tightly to the wall or each other.
Mount with screws: The most common way to install Wood Panels. To fix firmly Acoustic Wood Panels, use black screws or nails (from 12 to 15 per panel) and screw them through the felt to the surface. Applicable to walls and ceilings. We suggest using black screws for drywalls for panels with black felt and the same screws with grey coating for panels with grey felt or similar nails. We recommend pre-drill holes for concrete or brick walls to prevent cracking or damage. Use dowels. We suggest a minimum of 9 screws per panel at every three slats across the width and 24″ intervals down the length of the panel.
- Pros: The most durable way to fix Wood Panels on any surface.
- Cons: There is a miserable chance to miss with a colour of felt and screws.
Maximum sound absorption: Using wooden slats and insulation between the wall and the Wooden Panel will transfer your room close to the audio recording studio. We recommend screwing 1.8″ timber batons to the wall and then screwing the panels directly into the batons through the acoustic felt. Combined with professional sound-absorbing panels to cover the surface between mounting slats behind the panels, it will achieve maximum sound absorption. You need to cover at least 25% of the surface area to notice the difference in acoustics.
- Pros: Maximum sound absorption in your room.
- Cons: Extra equipment and materials are required.
Using adhesives
You will need
- A saw – either a circular saw or a regular handsaw if the panels need to be trimmed.
- Possibly small screws of about 15 mm for securing the slats when trimming the panels.
- A glue dispenser.
- Glue tube (about ½ tube per panel).
- Craft knife.
- Ruler/tape measure.
- Pencil.
Step 1. Prepare the surface
- Wipe the wall with a cloth and remove any screws, nails, and other obstructions so that the wall is entirely even. The surface must be dry.
- Make measurements on the surface and mark the edges of the panels.
Step 2. Cut the panels to size
- Based on a previous step – mark down the cutting line on a panel and trim it using the circular saw (or regular saw) to adjust it to the height.
- When it’s cut – screw the end of each slat to the felt from the back side of the panel with the screws no longer than 15 mm long.
- You may need to cut the panel to fit the width. You can adjust the panels’ width by cutting the felt with a knife.
Step 3. Installing the panels
- Glue the felt or the surface with enough glue (approx. ½ tube per panel). Place the panel against the wall in the previously marked area on the surface.
- Press the panel against the wall so the glue is well distributed and sticks.
Mount with screws
You will need
- A saw – either a circular saw or a regular handsaw if the panels need to be trimmed.
- A screwdriver.
- Screws to secure the panels to the wall.
- Black drywall screws about 30 mm. for mounting the acoustic panels.
- Possibly small screws of about 15 mm for securing the slats when trimming the panels.
- Craft knife.
- Ruler/tape measure.
- Penc

Step 3. Installing the panels
- Mount the acoustic panels to the wall by screwing the black screw through the felt and into the wall (or if you have used raw plugs, screw into them). Fifteen screws per panel are recommended.
- When mounting the panels, push the panels together (felt side against slat side) until a gap between the slats in the joint has the exact distance between slats as in panels. Do NOT push the panels together wholly. To maintain the correct distance, you can take a slat from a color sample and place it between the two panels.

Step 2. Install the studs
- Install the studs/scaffolding on the wall where you will mount your acoustic panels. A 24″ spacing between the studs is recommended.
Step 3. Place acoustic or mineral wool
- Put professional sound-absorbing panels between studs to achieve maximum sound absorption.

Care and maintenance
- You can clean the panels with a duster, a vacuum cleaner, or a washcloth. Be careful using too much water on panels with wooden surfaces, as it can damage the veneer.
- You can apply a protective coating to the veneer surface.
- Something like wood varnish is ideal, as it protects and preserves the natural look and structure of the wood. Please note that any coats may change the wood color – try this on a sample first.
