LEGAL DURATION
ADEO SERVICES undertakes to guarantee the conformity of the goods with the contract and against any hidden defects, in accordance with the legal provisions set out below, without this preventing the operation of the warranty granted below when this is more extensive than the legal warranty.

- possess the qualities that a buyer can legitimately expect in view of the public statements made by the retailer, the manufacturer or its representative, in particular in advertisements or on labelling;
- Or possess the characteristics mutually agreed upon by the parties or be fit for any special usein tended by the buyer, which was made known to the retailer and to which the latter agreed.”
“Guarantee against defects in the item sold” (excerpt from the French Civil Code) Art. 1641. “The retailer shall guarantee the item sold against hidden defects which make it unfit for its intended use, or so impair its use that the buyer would not have bought it, or would only have paid a lesser price for it, if they had been aware of such defects.”
