Important Safeguards
Read these instructions carefully and retain them for future use. If this product is passed to a third party, then these instructions must be included.
When using electrical products, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury to persons including the following:
- Do not install the product near heat sources (air conditioners,radiators, humidifiers etc.).
- Do not install the product in locations where it can be exposed to direct sunlight.
- Avoid using the product in locations where severe changes in ambient temperature may occur. The motion sensor will be more sensitive in cold conditions.
- This product employs non-replaceable LED light sources.
- Do not immerse the product in water.
- Always switch off the product before cleaning.
Battery Warnings
NOTICE
The batteries are not included.
- Always insert batteries correctly with regards to polarity(+ and-) marked on the battery and the product.
- Exhausted batteries should be immediately removed from product and properly disposed.
- Replace the batteries when the light output starts to become weak. Do not mix old and new or other battery types.
- Replace all batteries at the same time.
- Replace fully discharged batteries immediately.
Intended Use
- This product is intended to provide light when ambient lighting becomes insufficient. It is ideal for adding light to kitchens, bathrooms,children’s bedrooms, landings and hallways.
- This product is intended to only switch on automatically using the motion sensor in low ambient light conditions.
- This product is intended to be used in indoor areas only.
- This product is not intended for use with emergency exits.

Before First Use

Keep any packaging materials away from children and pets – these materials are
a potential source of danger, e.g. suffocation.

Preparation
Inserting batteries
NOTICE I Always insert batteries correctly with regard to polarity(+ and-) marked on the battery and the product.
- Remove the battery compartment cover (H) (Fig. 1).
- Insert 3x AA batteries (not included) (Fig. 2).
- Refit the battery compartment (H) (Fig. 3).
Connecting the USB cable
NOTICE I Batteries are not required when using the USB cable (Kl for powering the product.
- Connect the USB-C end of the USB cable (Kl to the USB-C port (B) (Fig. 4).
- Connect the other end of the USB cable (K) to a suitable USB power source or power adapter (not supplied).
- Plug the power adapter (not supplied) into a socket outlet.
Installation
- When installing the product above stove tops and sinks, follow the minimum safe distances (Fig. 5).
- This product should be installed and maintained only by an experienced adult. If in doubt, consult a professional.
- An adult must install/assemble this product.
- Do not hang anything on the product.
Wall and under-counter mounting
- Mark 2 drill holes on the wall 8.9″ (22.5 cm) apart (Fig. 6).
- Drill 2 holes to a depth of 0.98″ (25 mm) and then install the wall anchors (J) into the holes (Fig. 7) and (Fig. 8).
- Install the screws (1) into the wall anchors (J) leaving 0.2″ (5 mm) of the screw head protruding (Fig. 9).
- Align the screws with the wall mounting holes (G) and then hook the product onto the screws (Fig. 10).
- Slide the product left to secure in place (Fig. 11).
- Push the product down until the motion sensor (D) is facing downwards (Fig. 12).
Adjust the angle of the motion sensor (D) according to the height of the installation (Fig. 13).
Operation
Selecting a mode
To select an operation mode, adjust the mode selection switch (E):
Adjusting the brightness
To adjust the brightness level, slide the brightness level switch (A)
according to your preference (100%, 50% or 25%).
Cleaning and Maintenance
NOTICE
- Switch the product off before cleaning.
- During cleaning do not immerse the product in water or other liquids.
Never hold the product under running water.
Cleaning
- To avoid dust build up and ensure proper functioning of the product, wipe the motion sensor (D) with a slightly damp cloth once a week.
- Wipe the product dry after cleaning.
- Never use corrosive detergents, wire brushes, abrasive scourers, metal or sharp utensils to clean the product.
Storage
Store the product in its original packaging in a dry area with the batteries
removed. Keep away from children and pets
Maintenance
Any other servicing than mentioned in this manual should be performed by a
professional repair center.
