TPMS INTRODUCTION
About TPMS
Thanks for choosing ourTPMS. TPMS is a system monitoring pressure and
temperature of vehicle tires in real time, by detecting the tire conditions
with sensors, transmitting data to the display monitor. According to alerting
thresholds set up by user, when sensors detect abnormal tire situation, system
issues alerts by audio alarm and displaying data on monitor, thus to assist
driver to avoid potential accident. Applying TPMS to vehicles can also
effectively reduce fuel consumption, prolong tire life and save energy. Be
sure to read this instruction carefully before installation and it’s suggested
to keep this manual for future use
Safety Precautions
It is strongly suggested to read the instructions below before TPMS
installation:
- lnstall the monitor inside driver’s cabin where it does not block driver’s view and not affect regular driving.
- Firmly fix monitor display to prevent falling off during driving.
- The tire temperature and pressure could increase dramaticallywhile driving, when it reaches the alarm thresholds please stop vehicle to cool down and to avoid brake failure or tire blowout.
- When tire pressure is continually increasing or dropping, please stop vehicle and examine tires.
- When high tire pressure is observed, please beware of possible tire blowout; when it’s low tire pressure beware of fuel consumption and wheel balance
- The system can effectively monitor tire pressure and temperature but cannot avoid traffic accident. Using quality tires and keep normal pressure in tires are essentially important.
- Be sure of safety while checking tire data on monitor during driving.
- With correct installation this TPMS system issues alert when abnormal situation detected, driver does not have to check the monitor frequently, and should focus in safe driving.
Installation Tips
- After 10 minutes without vibration the monitor will go into sleep mode, and can be awakened by vehicle vibration and starts receiving data from sensors. For each new journey it’ll take a few minutes to collect and update all tires data on monitor.
- Monitor and sensors transmit by wireless signals, with long effective transmission distance and anti-interference protection.
- It’s a normal phenomenon that the tire pressure and temperature change all the time during driving, as result of air expansion and contraction.
- Tire air leakage with time is a natural phenomenon and is not caused or affected byTPMS.
- For any question or problem of installation, please contact with local distributors.

MONITOR INSTALLATION
Attach monitor to car windshield by its sticker as the image shown below, stick at where is easy to view. Charge the monitor display by a USB cable connecting to car cigarette lighter charger (charge for 2.5 hours or more for the first time).
Notice:
- Install the monitor display inside driver cabin where it does not block driver’s view and not affect regular driving.
- Firmly fix the monitor display to prevent falling off during driving.
- Be sure of safety while checking tire data on monitor during driving.
- With correct installation this TPMS system issues alert when abnormal situation detected, driver does not have to check the monitor frequently and should focus on safe driving.
Power ON/OFF Monitor Display
In situation of a long time parking, user can switch OFF monitor by pressing
on “( )” until a beep issued. Pressing on “( )” again to switch ON. Monitor
will automatically power OFF when its power runs out.
SENSOR INSTALLATION
Note:
In order that the monitor can receive the sensor data immediately, please make
sure the monitor is power on before installing the sensor.
REPLACING THE SENSOR BATTERY
Sensor battery should be replaced on time when there is low battery alert and the icon is displayed on the monitor. A new CR1632 battery (working temperature -40″C~+80″C)is available from your local distributor.
SETTINGS
In Standby mode, pressing “ ” key until a beep issued to enter Setting mode, quick press “ ” to scroll thru setting items, press to set value of each item, pressing “ “ until a beep issued to save and return to Standby mode (after 1 minute of no operation, system abort setting and return to Standby mode automatically).
Default Settings
Pressure units | PSI/ BAR |
---|---|
High pressure alert threshold | 46PSI (3.2BAR) |
Low pressure alert threshold | 29PSI (2.0BAR) |
Temperature unit | ‘F |
High temperature alert threshold | 158’F |
Restore default settings:
Switch OFF monitor, pressing on “ ” to switch ON again, within the 3 seconds
of full-screen display pressing on” ” until a beep issued, monitor is restored
to default settings.
Setting Items
Pressure Unit
“PSI” (or” BAR”) flashing, press to select desired unit.
Temperature Unit
“‘C” (or” ‘F “) flashing, press to select desired unit.
ALERTS
High Pressure/ Low Pressure/ High Temperature/ Fast Leakage / Sensor Low Battery All 4 tires pressure (or temperature) value is displayed at the same time on monitor display, when abnormal situation detected (e.g. tire pressure is higher or lower than thresholds), the value of faulty tire & icons ( ) flash on monitor display with a warning audio beep. Press any key to stop audio beep, value of faulty tire & warning icons keep on flashing until all problems are solved.
High Pressure Alert
Alert display: left front tire pressure 48PSI is higher than threshold,
warning audio beep issued.
Low Pressure Alert
Alert display: left front tire pressure 28PSI is lower than threshold, warning
audio beep issued.
High Temperature Alert
Alert display: left front tire temperature 159°F is higher than threshold,
warning audio beep issued.
Fast Leakage Alert
Alert display: fast leakage detected in left front tire, that the tire
pressure rapidly drops from 36PSI to 32PSI, warning audio beep issued.
Sensor Low Battery Alert
Alert display: Left front tire sensor battery is low, warning audio beep
issued.
Note: Press any key to stop warning audio beep, faulty tire & warning
icons keep on flashing until new battery replaced in sensor.
OTHER FUNCTIONS
Display of 4 Tires & 5 Tires
Monitor display 4 tires pressure value at the same time, when vehicle is
carrying a spare tire {the 5th tire) which is installed with TPMS sensor,
monitor shows spare tire data in a 2” display (shown as the images below), the
two displays switch in turn of 10 seconds interval.
Sleep Mode
After vehicle parked for 10 minutes and the monitor is not in charging,
monitor enters sleep mode to save power, monitor will turn off and no tire
data will be received. Press any key or start a new driving to wake up
monitor.
Auto-backlighting
Monitor display can automatically adjust its backlight by detecting
surrounding environment brightness.
Power Charging
Monitor is with built-in rechargeable battery, charge it by solar (“ ” icon
shown in LCD display) or through an USB cable connecting to car cigarette
lighter charger. A full charge takes about 2.S hours. The monitor battery icon
indicates remaining power at 3 grades, when it become” n” please charge in
time.
SENSOR PAIRING
Sensors (4 pcs as standard) are already paired with monitor in package, and marked with its tire position, install sensors to the right tires and TPMS is ready for use. In case of tire changed, sensor ID code error, sensor installed on wrong tire etc, user can make new pairing by inflation as below:
Inflation Pairing:
In Standby mode, pressing “ ” until a beep issued to enter sensor Pairing
mode.”, d ” &sensor ID code {6 digits) displayed, press “( )” to switch to
desired tire, tire icon (which is under pairing) is flashing, install sensor
to the right tire (or inflate the tire), upon receiving sensor ID code monitor
will issue a beep and have new ID code displayed (shown as below), pairing
success. Repeatthe same procedure for the rest of the sensors. When all
pairing are finished, pressing “ ” until a beep issued, sensors ID code are
saved and system returns to Standby mode.
