Important Safeguards

DANGER Risk of suffocation!
Keep any packaging materials away from children and pets – these materials are a potential source of danger, e.g. suffocation.

• Avoid touching the cutting edge or blade with bare hands to prevent accidental cuts or injuries.
• Be cautious when handling the product to avoid accidental contact with the sharp edges.
• For added protection, use cut resistant gloves.
• Wear safety glasses when using a cutting tool. The blade may break and fly off the work surface.
• Read these instructions carefully and retain them for future use. If this product is passed to a third party, then these instructions must be included.
• For domestic use only.
• This product is shipped fully assembled. Before use verify that all the components and (hardware) are secure.
• Be cautious when opening/closing (folding/unfolding) the product. Keep hands away from the folding parts to prevent fingers from being trapped and pinched.
• Do not let children play with the product.

Use

1. Take off the safety guard from the blade slider (Fig. 1).
2. Press down on the blade slider (Fig. 1).
3. Slide it forwards to reveal the blade (Fig. 2). There are three blade length positions. Pushing the blade slider to the end extrudes a longer blade.
4. Press down and slide the blade slider backwards to retract the blade.

Using the Safety Guard

NOTICE The safety guard is there to prevent accidental movement of the blade slider.

1. Position the safety guard so that its longer end aligns with the blade slider.
2. Carefully insert the notch of the safety guard beneath the raised section of the blade slider (Fig. 3).
3. Ensure that the safety guard seamlessly fits within the designated path of the slider.

Changing Blades

NOTICE  The product comes with 1 pre-installed blade and 4 spare blades.

1. Slide the lock slider to open the product (Fig. 4).
2. Flip the casing open (Fig. 5). Spare blades are stored inside the product.
3. Remove the pre-installed blade from the slot (Fig. 6).
4. Place the spare blade into the slot. Ensure that it fits into the notches.
5. Discard used blades in an appropriate container.

Cleaning

WARNING Risk of cuts!
Never clean the product with the blade revealed or if the safety guard is not installed.

• To clean the product, wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth.
• Never use corrosive detergents, wire brushes, abrasive scourers, metal or sharp utensils to clean the product.

Disposal
Dispose of the product according to local regulations. If in doubt, consult your local authorities.
