Introduction

Prerequisites:

  • Minimum Passage Width: Should exceed 63.5cm (25″).
  • Bed Gap: Should be greater than 12cm (4.72″).
  • User Requirements: User should be able to sit independently.
  • Suitable Ground: Intended for use on flat surfaces.
  • Maximum Load Capacity: 130 kg (287 lbs).
  • Recommended Maximum User Weight: 100 kg (220 lbs).

Installation Method

  1. lnstall the two wheels with brakes at the front and the two wheels without brakes on the two support legs. Note: The nut’s circular side should face up.
  2. To open, lift the leg’s pin with the pull ring and then open the leg. To retract, lift the leg’s pin with the pull ring and then retract the leg.
  3. Pull out the fixed pin on one side of the armrest and place the armrest parallel to the ground.
    Pull out the fixed pin, lower the armrest to make it perpendicular to the ground.

Folding Method

  • Remove the backrest.
  • Detach the seat cushion.
  • Lower the armrest: Lift the pin, rotate the armrest to be perpendicular to the ground.
  • Retract the base legs: Lift the pin on the legs, then retract the two legs separately.

Use Method

Raising/Lowering Sling and Seat Cushion:

Use the handle for control, follow the prompts on the device for lifting and lowering operations.

Seat Cushion Usage:

Position the seat cushion under the patient. It can be used for general transfers and transferring to vehicles and wheelchairs. Secure the cushion firmly on the armrest using safety buckles in the designated positions.

Safety Check:

  • Before use, inspect all components for transportation damage. Do not use the device if damaged. Contact customer support for assistance.
  • Do not attempt any transfers without approval from the patient’s doctor, nurse, or qualified medical assistant. Read the manual carefully, then practice transfer procedures multiple times with a capable patient.
  • Do not use any plastic padding, incontinence pads, or cushions between the patient and sling material, as it may cause the patient to slip during transfer.
  • Before transferring the patient from a stationary object, gently lift the patient off the object and check all sling attachments for secure fastening. If any attachment/adjustment is incorrect, lower the patient, correct the issue, then lift the patient and check again.

User Transfer

  • Open and lock the legs of the base. Using the handle, lift the user.
  • Lower the user’s height using the handle, placing their feet on the transfer machine base, spanning the central column.
  • Not suitable for individuals lacking sufficient upper body balance strength.
  • Use only for short-distance transfers, not on irregular or inclined surfaces, obstacles, or soft surfaces such as plush carpets.
  • Not to be used for users weighing over 220lb.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular Maintenance:

  • Follow the maintenance steps described in this manual to ensure the continuous functionality of your transfer machine.
  • Keep the transfer machine and slings and cushions clean and in good working condition. Inspect stressed components for signs of cracks, wear, or deformation. Replace defective parts immediately.

Cleaning Guidelines:

  • Slings and cushions should be cleaned regularly with a soft cloth dipped in water and mild detergent. Do not use abrasive cleansers.
  • Wheels must roll smoothly. Regularly check and clear debris from the wheels and rotating bearings. Replace worn parts immediately.
