Carefully unpack the radio. We recommend that you identify the items listed in the following table before discarding the packing material. If any items are missing or have been damaged during shipment, file a claim with the carrier immediately.

Getting Acquainted

    • Turn the volume control clockwise to increase volume.
    • Turn the volume control anticlockwise to decrease volume.
  3. Indicator Lamp
    • Light Red: Transmitting
    • Light Blue: Receiving

    • Short press to enter the submenu or confirm/save the selection
  8. UP Key & DOWN Key
    • Press the “▲” or“▼” Key to select items
    • On standby states, short press up key or down key to enter the group selection
  9. PTT
    • Long press PTT to transmit, release PTT to return to receive states
    • In any state, short press PTT to return the standby
  10. PF1 Button
    • In standby mode, short press to enter the friend list
    • In any mode, long press the button to send the SOS to the selected group.
  11. PF2 Button
    • In Menu mode, short press to return to the previous menu or standby mode
    • Long press the button to power on / off.

Basic Operations

Power On / Off
Long press the PF2 button to power on / off.
NOTE: Don’t remove the battery directly to power it off, otherwise it will lead to data loss and radio damage.

Transmitting
Long press PTT to transmit (LED indicator lights red), and keep away from the microphone at least 5cm.

Exception & Talking Priority
If there is an advanced user starts to talk when you’re transmitting, you will be forced to exit the transmitting mode.

Receiving
The LED indicator lights are blue, LCD screen displays the transmitter’s name when receiving.

  • Press the MENU Key to enter the menu
  • Press the “▲” or“▼” Key to choose the menu item
  • Short press the PF2 button to return to the previous menu list
  • Press the MENU Key to confirm the selection

Advanced Functions

Monitor Group
Enter the group list, short press the “PF1” key to monitor other group(s), ICON showed. Short press again to cancel.

Private Call, Multi-member Selective Call, Temporary Group

  • Private call: Short press the MENU button to select the member from the friends/user list, and long press the PTT button to make a private call.
  • Multi-member Selective Call: Short press the PF1 button to select several members from friends/users) list, long press the PTT button to make a multi-member selective call.
  • Temporary Group: A group created for a private call or multi-member selective call is called a temporary group. Short press the PF2 button to exit the temporary group.

Key Locked Function
Long press the MENU button to lock or unlock. In the keyboard locked state, only the PTT button, PF1 button long press, PF2 button long press, and Mand ENU button long press can be used.

SAR tests are conducted using standard operating positions accepted by the FCC with the device transmitting at its highest certified power level in all tested frequency bands, although the SAR is determined at the highest certified power level, the actual SAR level of the device while operating can be well below the maximum value. Before a new model phone is available for sale to the public, it must be tested and certified to the FCC that it does not exceed the exposure limit established by the FCC, tests for each phone are performed in positions and locations as required by the FCC. For body-worn operation, this device has been tested and meets the FCC RF exposure when used with an accessory designated for this product or when used with an accessory that contains no metal.

To maintain compliance with the FCC RF exposure guideline, hold the transmitter and antenna at least 1.0 centimetres from your face and speak in a normal voice, with the antenna pointed up and away from the face. This equipment complies with FCC radiation exposure limits set forth for an uncontrolled environment.
