IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
Read these instructions carefully and retain them for future use. If this appliance is passed to a third party, then these instructions must be included.
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury to persons including the following:
- Use this appliance only on a firm, level surface.
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
- Children shall not play with the appliance.
- Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
- Do not use this appliance in an environment with strong electromagnetic disturbances.
- Handle this appliance with care at it is a precision instrument.
- Only use this appliance with a provided power adapter, model XYO6SE-050100VQ-UW for North America, YM-0501000 for Europe and ‘YM-0501000-BS for UK.
- Disconnect the power adapter from the electrical outlet when not in use and before cleaning.
Battery Warnings
NOTE: The batteries are not included.
- Always insert batteries correctly with regards to polarity (+ and ) marked on the battery and the appliance.
- Exhausted batteries should be immediately removed from appliance and properly disposed.
- Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.
- Different types of batteries or new and used Batteries are not to be mixed.
- Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity.
- Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the appliance and safely disposed of.
- If the appliance is to be stored unused for a long period, the batteries are removed.
- The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.
- Remove batteries with dry hands only.

Before First Use
- Check the appliance for transport damages.
- Remove all the packing materials.

Risk of suffocation! Keep any packaging materials away from children- these materials are a potential source of danger, e.g. suffocation.
Intended Use
- This appliance is intended for weighing items up to a maximum weight of 65 lbs (30 kg).
- This appliance is intended for household use only. It is not intended for commercial use.
- This appliance is intended to be used in dry indoor areas only.
- No liability will be accepted for damages resulting from improper use or noncompliance with these instructions.
Operation
Inserting batteries
- Remove the battery compartment (G) cover at the back of the product.
- Insert 2x AA (LR6, R6) 1.5 V batteries (not included).
- Close the battery compartment (G) cover.
NOTICE Battery is low when is shown on the display (B).
NOTICE Product automatically switches off after 5 minutes of inactivity
when battery powered.
Connecting to a socket outlet
- Attach the power adapter (I/J/K) to the power socket (H).
- Connect the plug to a suitable socket outlet.
NOTICE Product does not automatically switch off when using power adapter (I/J/K).
Weighing
- Press the ON/OFF button (D) to switch the product on. The display (B) shows “0.0”.
- Place an item on the weighing plate (A). Wait for the readout on the display (B) to stabilize.
- After use, press the ON/OFF button (D) to switch the product off.
NOTICE
- Press the MODE button (E) anytime to toggle between different weighing units (lobos, gig, kg, g, lb., oz.).
- To reset the display to “0.0” with items still on the weighing plate (A), press the TARE button (F), then place on the next item.
- The product is overloaded when -Ld. is shown on the display (B). Remove all items on the weighing plate (A).
Auto-lock function
- After the weight of the item(s) is/are stabilized, the display (B) will automatically lock after flashing “hold” 6 times.
- Unless all items on the weighing plate (A) are removed, the weight readout on the display (B) does not change.
- The display will unlock when:
A. new items (> 0.03 oz (5 g)) are added to the weighing plate (A).
B. all items on the weighing plate (A) are removed. The display (B).unlocks after flashing “hold” 4 times.
Counting function
NOTICE
- This function can only work for items weighing approximately 0.055 lbs (25 g) and above.
- This function can only be used for counting items that are identical/similar in weight
- When ERR is shown on the display (B), remove all items on the weighing plate (A) and try again. Check if the weight is below the minimum workable weight for this function, approx. 0.055 lbs (25 g).
- The product is overloaded when -d is shown on the display (B). Remove all items on the weighing plate (A) and try again.
- Press and hold the PCS button (C) for 3 seconds to activate the counting function. Display (B) shows 25 and “pcs” flashes continuously.
- Press the MODE button (E) to select the quantity of the sample (25/50/75/100) units, and then place the items on the weighing plate (A).
- Press the PCS button (C) to confirm, then the display (B) shows PASS and “pcs” stays lit.
- Place all the items needed to weigh out on the weighing plate (A). The display (B) shows the amount of items accordingly.
Cleaning and Storage
WARNING Risk of electric shock! To prevent electric shock, unplug the product and/or remove the batteries before cleaning.
WARNING Risk of electric shock! During cleaning do not immerse the product in water or other liquids. Never hold the product under running water.
Cleaning
- To clean the product, wipe with a soft, slightly moist cloth.
- Never use corrosive detergents, wire brushes, abrasive scourers, metal or sharp utensils to clean the product.
Storage
Store the product in its original packaging in a dry area. Keep away from
children and pets.
