SY-UF-02 Pocket Water Filter Hand Press Filter Pump

Note:

1. Connect pre sand filter and silicone hose to filter pump, adjust position of float according to water source.
2. Connect L fitting to water pouch or other container with silicone hose & adapter.
3. Replace pre sand filter and post UF filter when flow rate significantly decreased (backwash is not workable).

Note:
Filtration ability will be affected by water source quality. When output flow is significantly reduced or odor & color are no longer removed, it’s time to replace pre filter and post UF filter.

How it Works

3. Foldable handle
Pull up the handle firstly, then unfold before using.
Fold the handle firstly, then push down after using.|
4. Visible clean water
Please keep 20-30 frequency /min push and pull on handle at a constant speed.|

1. water filter pump operation
   | Connect inlet & outlet silicone hose and water pouch

   | Immerse pre sand filter into water source, try to choose visible clean water (least muddy). Generally, stream is much better than lake and swamp.
   | Clean pre sand filter and hose. Backwash post UF filter, then dry after each trip. Store in sealed. Far away from sunlight and freezing.
2. Post composite UF filter can screw off from pump and work as a filter straw.
   | Straw water directly from water source.

   | Squeeze with water pouch.
   | Screw to Cola water bottle for drinking.

How to Clean

| ① Take off post UF filter. Screw white adapter onto the pump. Connect adapter, post filter as picture. Put inlet hose into clean water, push and pull handle for flush.

| ② Always clean after each use and air dry the filters in 24 hours. Clean and backwash after each trip will greatly extend lifespan of filters.

Note: Only backwash with clean water, NO soap or other chemicals.

Tips & Tricks

NO seawater
All of our filter systems are made to filter fresh water sources or municipal tap water only. Some examples of fresh water sources include: lakes, rivers, streams, snow water and ponds.

Prevent clogging
Heavy polluted water or water with a high concentration of silt will clog the Pre-Filter more quickly. To prevent heavy sediment from clogging the Pre- Filter which will cause it to be short-lived: always begin with the cleanest water available, for muddy water we  recommend collect water in a large container and let it sit for 10 minutes Then, filter the upper level as normal.

Cold Weather
Be sure Filter is completely free of water before storing away in sub-zero temperatures. Then the risk of damaging the filters are much lower.

Storage
To store the device, Cleaning and backwashing the filters and air dry for around 24 hours. Before packaging the system well, perform a vigorous shake to dump any excess water left inside.

TDS Testing
With double 0.01 um pore size, our filter works removes 99.99999% of all bacteria , 99.9999% of all protozoa and removes 100% of micro- plastics, Reduces Heavy Metals – 99.5% of Mercury and 93% Lead while keeping useful ions.
TDS is a measure of solid substances dissolved in drinking water mainly Ca2+ MG2+ Na+ K+, and reasonable amount of those ions are useful for our health.
TDS does not tell about the bacteria, protozoa, micro-plastics that our filter removes
