• This instruction manual is intended for the installer of the optional accessory.
• Only a licensed expert may connect the appliance.
• Switch off the power supply before carrying out any work.

Safe installation

Observe the safety instructions when installing the optional accessory.
WARNING  ‒ Risk of injury!
Components inside the appliance may have sharp edges.
▶ Wear protective gloves.
▶ Install the pipe section at the air outlet in such a way that it reaches at least to the bottom of the cabinet.
WARNING ‒ Risk of suffocation! Children may put packaging material over their heads or wrap themselves up in it and suffocate.
▶ Keep packaging material away from children.
▶ Do not let children play with packaging material.
Included with the appliance
After unpacking all parts, check for any damage in transit and the completeness of the delivery.

Establishing the pipework

1. Establish the pipework in such a way that the flexible hose is flush with the cabinet base.
   → Fig. 2

2. For circulating-air mode, establish an air outlet in the unit’s front toe kick.
   The air outlet must have a minimum cross-section of approximately 400 cm². Make the outlet open- ing in the base panel as large as possible in order to keep draughts and noise to a minimum.

Fitting the odor filters

1. Insert the odor filters into the odor filter cartridge.
   → Fig.3
   Insert the odor filters in the correct direction.

2. Press.
   √ The glass panel moves halfway down and the grease filter cartridges are transported to the top.

3. Remove the grease filters.
   → Fig. 4

4. Note: The appliance frame is sensitive. Remove the grease filter cartridges vertically. Do not pull the grease filter cartridges over the appliance frame.
   Remove the grease filter cartridges.
   → Fig. 5

5. Insert the odour filter cartridge.
   → Fig. 6

6. Carefully insert the grease filter cartridges.
   → Fig. 7

7. Insert the grease filter into the grease filter cartridges.
   → Fig. 8
   To avoid causing damage, do not bend the grease filters.

8. Press .
   √ The glass panel and the filter cartridges move downwards.
   √  The appliance flap closes and the appliance switches off.

Removing the odor filter
▶ Note: Do not break the odor filter cartridge open. Remove the odor filters from the odor filter cartridge.

▶ Note: The appliance frame is sensitive. Remove the grease filter cartridges vertically. Do not pull the grease filter cartridges over the appliance frame.
Remove the grease filter cartridges.

Cleaning the filter cartridges
▶ Note:  Do not clean the filter cartridges in the dishwasher.
Clean the filter cartridges using a sponge cloth and hot soapy water.
