-
Remove your spare wheel and the undertray that fits around the front and side of the spare wheel.
-
From the undertray that fits to the rear of the spare wheel, cut off the appropriate excess as this will foul the water tank if left. You can offer the tank up to see how much you will need to remove.
-
Drill two 8mm holes in the chassis as shown below for brackets B and C. Some models will have existing 6mm holes which you can drill out to 8mm.
-
Use the existing hole (square shape) in the chassis member near the rear passenger side wheel to affix bracket A with the nut and bolt. Secure it roughly into position, as shown below and tighten. The bracket has some flex which will allow you to bend it into shape once the tank is in position.
-
Fit brackets B and C on the bolt side and leave loose for now. You will tighten these when the tank is in position.
(The nut and bolt side has an oval hole to allow for adjustment later on) -
Now, with all the brackets affixed on one side, place the tank into position. You can use a jack to prop the tank up at this point to make it easier to position.
All brackets in place -
With the tank in position, secure bracket A into place using the self tapper screws provided in the kit.
-
Repeat this process for bracket B and C.
Secure brackets with self tapping screws -
The final step is to tighten the nut and bolt of brackets B and C which were left loose earlier.
