Product Usage Instructions

Arming the System:

To arm the system, you can use a PIN code or a proximity tag. Follow these steps:

  1. Enter a valid PIN code on the keypad or present a valid tag to the symbol.

Disarming the System:

To disarm the system, follow these steps:

  1. Using a PIN Code or Proximity Tag: Enter the valid PIN code or present the tag to the symbol.
  2. Using the Wireless Keyfob: Press the designated button on the keyfob.

Disarming after an Alarm:

If an alarm has been triggered, follow these steps to disarm the system:

  1. Using a PIN Code or Proximity Tag: Enter the valid PIN code or present the tag to the symbol.
  2. Using the Wireless Keyfob: Press the designated button on the keyfob.

Fault Indications & Unable to Arm:

If there are fault indications or you are unable to arm the system, follow these steps:

  1. Fault Indications: Check the control panel for error messages or indications.

Q: How do I add a new user to the system?

A: To add a new user, follow these steps:

  1. Enter Master Manager Mode.
  2. Select “Edit Users.”
  3. Choose “Add New User.”
  4. Follow the on-screen prompts to input user details.
  5. Save the changes and exit Master Manager Mode.

Q: How can I connect the system to Wi-Fi?

A: To set up Wi-Fi connection:

  1. Access the Wi-Fi Setup menu on the control panel.
  2. Choose your preferred Wi-Fi setup method (Wi-Fi Device, WPS, or Manual Connection).
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to enter your Wi-Fi credentials.
  4. Once connected, you will receive confirmation on the control panel.

ARMING DEVICES

THE WIRELESS PANEL KEYPAD AND ADDITIONAL KEYPADS

Additional wired keypads may also be connected to the wireless control panel, please ask your engineer for more information.

a = Exits the Master Manager menu and selects Area A when arming.
b = Moves backwards in the Master Manager menu and selects Area B when arming.
c = Enables chime, displays additional information in the event log, and selects Area C when arming.
d = Moves forward in the log, scrolls between options, enters the Master Manager menu and selects Area D when arming. f p = Not used unless specifically enabled by engineer. [ ] = Directional buttons and enables/disables functions.
f = Enters menus and accepts programming preferences.
h = Cancels items, resets the panel and moves to next item in a menu item.

WIRELESS KEYFOBS

The wireless keyfob has four buttons that may be programmed for specific purposes, these options are programmed in the `EDIT USERS?’ section.

Locking the Keyfob

All four buttons on the keyfob may be locked so that any accidental presses will not affect your wireless alarm system. For example, this protects the buttons from being pressed accidentally if a keyfob is in someone’s pocket.

ARMING THE SYSTEM

USING A PIN CODE OR PROXIMITY TAG

Enter a valid PIN code or present a valid tag to the symbol as shown.

Enter the area you wish to arm and press f. `Please wait setting wireless’ will be displayed.

Set Areas? [A ]

Leave the building via the agreed exit route and make sure the exit door is closed properly.

USING THE WIRELESS KEYFOB

To arm via a keyfob. Pressand hold for less than 2 seconds. The keyfob LED will start to flash green indicating that the system is starting to arm. Please wait setting wireless’ will be displayed on the keypad and the programmed area will begin to arm. Toquick arm’, press and hold thekey again for four seconds. Once armed, the keyfob LED will illuminate RED indicating that the system is now armed.

DISARMING THE SYSTEM

USING A PIN CODE OR PROXIMITY TAG

Enter the building, the `entry time’ will start.

ENTRY TIME [30]

Enter a valid PIN code or present a valid tag to the symbol as shown.

USING THE WIRELESS KEYFOB

To disarm via a keyfob. Press. The keyfob LED will flash green indicating that the system has disarmed.

Please note

  • Disarming with a keyfob will only be allowed if your engineer has enabled this.

USING A PIN CODE OR PROXIMITY TAG

Enter a valid PIN code or present a valid tag to the symbol as shown.
The alarm symbol will flash indicating there has been an alarm activation and the keypad will display which zone has activated.

ADVANCED FUNCTIONS

CHIME

Unable To Set Input 01

The chime can be used for any zone on the system. This can be programmed by your engineer.
To enable the chime on the keypad, when the time is displayed, press c.
`c’ will be displayed on the right side of the keypad display. Press c again to clear the chime feature.

OMITTING ZONES

On occasion, a detector may need to be isolated if a room is occupied. Enter your User Code. Press f. Select the zones that need to be bypassed’ Press h. After 10 seconds the exit time continues.

  • Zones have to be programmed as bypassable by your engineer for this feature to operate.

KEYPAD HOLD UP

A `hold up’ alarm will be generated when 1 and 7 are pressed and held down for 2 seconds (this time period can be altered by your engineer).

Alarm Silenced 2 Key HU

Please note 1

  • The keyfob can also be programmed to provoke a hold up alarm.
  • All hold up alarms including duress codes must be enabled by the engineer. Please note 2: This feature is not available from the tablet application.

MASTER MANAGER MODE OVERVIEW

The Master Manager menu has the following functions:

Please note: Some of the following menus may not appear in your Master Manager menu. The menu is dynamic, meaning that it will only display relevant menus which are impacted by equipment and programming. This is nothing to be concerned about.

Set Date and Time Programs the date and time. Operate User Outputs Activates/deactivates user automation outputs that are used to remotely activate devices, such as electronic gates & lights. Omit Inputs Bypasses zones programmed as `Day Alarm’ only. Edit Users Adds/Edits/Deletes User PIN codes, tags and keyfobs.

MASTER MANAGER MENU SET DATE & TIME? OPERATE USER OUTPUTS? OMIT INPUTS EDIT USERS? REVIEW LOGS?

Review Logs Displays all event log information. Set Up App Data If the HomeControl2.0 App has been enabled, this function will control the settings. Wi-Fi Setup Adds or changes a Wi-Fi connection with your router. SMS Phonebook If SMS texting is enabled, there can be up to 10 mobile numbers programmed to send SMS alarms. Please discuss this feature with your installer if required.

EDIT USERS

Add New User? Delete/Change User? Change Master Manager Code?

  • The `EDIT USERS’ function allows adding, editing and deleting of both master manager and user codes, tags and keyfobs.
  • The control panel can have up to 80 users programmed. Each of the users are allocated a code, tag or a wireless keyfob.

Please note

  • A maximum of 32 users can have a wireless keyfob allocated.

Flexi-set

Flexi-set allows you to choose which level/area to arm if a user code or tag is assigned to one or more levels/areas. If this function is disabled, when a user code is entered or proximity tag presented, the system will automatically arm the levels/areas that the user is assigned to.

Deleting a User

  • Press [ or ] to scroll through the users, or enter the user number and press f.
  • Press f to delete a user, or press h to change a user.

Change User

  • Press f to change a user code, and follow the screen shots previously.

Change Master Manager Code

  • To edit the Master Manager Code, press f. Press c then enter the new code or present a tag. Press f. Repeat the procedure mentioned previously.

WI-FI SETUP

Setup with Wi-Fi Device? Setup with WPS? SSID? Password? Signal Strength

Setup with WPS

Go into the Master Manager menu. Press h until the option `WI-FI SETUP?’ is displayed. Press f.

`Setup with WI-FI Device?’ will now be on the LCD screen. Press h to program the wireless network manually.

Setup with WPS?’ will now be displayed, press f and then f again when the system asksAre You Sure?’

`Connecting WPS Please Wait’ will now be displayed, whilst the system searches for a router.

At this point, the router that the system is to connect to should be put in to WPS mode. 6. The panel will display a message to indicate when the system has successfully connected.

INTRUDER SYSTEM HOMESCREEN

Disconnect from system: Tap this to disconnect from the system and return to the main screen.
Area information:  The alias of this area along with name of the last user to arm or disarm the area.
Zones in area: Tap this to view all the zones allocated in the above area.
Geofencing: Select to setup, view or edit the geofence associated with this system.
System name: Tap here to change how the system is known and displayed in the app.
Full arm: Toggle this slider to simultaneously arm all the areas on the system.
Action button: Displays whether the area is in alarm, armed disarmed, or currently has a fault. This also acts as the main button to arm or disarm the area. Tap to change between the two or silence alarms.
About: Tap to display all the system information such as the firmware of the control panel, the number of zones on the system etc.
