Transportation, Storage, and Disposal

  • Store in a cool, dry, and UV-protected area.
  • Avoid contact with sharp objects during transportation.

Durability

  • Store knee pads properly in the original packaging for up to 5 years after manufacture.
  • Avoid using damaged knee pads and dispose of them immediately.
  • Ensure proper fit and placement of knee pads to avoid impairing blood supply.
  • Avoid wearing it on bare skin.
  • Use at recommended surfaces or ambient temperatures.

Handling & Cleaning

Transport, storage, and disposal

Durability

When stored properly (see section 5) in the original packaging, the knee pads can be used without restrictions for up to 5 years after manufacture. This shelf life is only valid for the period of storage and excludes the period of use.

Applications and information about possible dangers

  • These knee pads are suitable for working in a kneeling position. This knee pad is expressly not a medical device nor intended for sports.
  • The knee pad does not protect in case of falls from height and is thus not suitable for applications that pose a risk of falling.
  • The knee pad can not offer comprehensive protection against injuries of various types. In individual cases, the suitability for the intended use and the given ambient conditions must be checked by the user before use. Contact the manufacturer in case of doubt. The knee pad is not resistant to chemicals.
  • The knee pad does not protect against heat and must not be used in high temperatures.
  • The optional additional requirement for water resistance/ watertightness has not been tested.
  • The manufacturer excludes any liability for damage caused by improper use.

Handling & Cleaning

  • Check for visible damage before use.
  • Do not use damaged knee pads and dispose of them immediately.
  • Make sure the knee pads fit properly.
  • Set the fastening strap on the lower leg so that the blood supply in the leg is not impaired.
  • Do not wear on bare skin.
  • Use of the product at surface or ambient temperatures above 40 °C may reduce the protective effect of the knee pad.
  • Do not use it for sports activities.
  • Wipe with lukewarm water and mild soap and dry at room temperature.
