How to remove/install the wireless Bluetooth remote
How to remove the remote:
Remove from the bottom slot of the remote.
How to install the remote:
Align the top of the remote with the slot and press it in.
How to open the tripod
Step 1: As shown in Figure 1,hold the handle sleeve and press the triangle button at the bottom,then three legs of the tripod will automatically open.Don’t hold the position of the leg with hand, which will cause failure to open the three legs.
Note: The tripod adopts triangular button locking design.
Note:
If you only use it as a selfie stick, you won’t need to open the tripod and
you can ignore Step 1, just pull out the clip as Step 2 and then pull out the
telescopic rod to adjust the length.
Step 2: As shown in Figure 2,hold the handle sleeve with one hand, grip
the push handle on the holder with the other hand and pull out the phone
holder.And then, as shown in Figure 3,grip the middle of the phone holder with
one hand and hold the handle sleeve with the other hand to pull out the rod to
a suitable length (Please don’t pull the telescopic rod too hard, otherwise
the pole will be got stuck.).
Note:
- Note that your hand or finger may be pinched when you pull the push handle on the phone holder.
- The telescopic rod consists of eight sections, and the total height of the tripod is 60 inches/153cm. If you find the tripod height is not enough for 60in,please make sure all 8 sections of telescopic rods are pulled out.
Note:
The bottom tripod will automatically open completely after extending the pull
rod at Step 2. Don’t forcibly open the tripod with your hands to prevent
damage to the product.
How to close the tripod
Step 1: As shown in Figure 1,three legs of the tripod will automatically
close by holding the handle sleeve with one hand and gradually pushing the
telescopic rod into the handle sleeve with the other hand.
Step 2: As shown in Figure 2, place three fingers on the bottom of the
three legs and press them towards the middle to lock the legs, then completely
close the tripod. (Don’t get your hands or fingers caught in the gap).
How to connect the remote
Long press the shutter/power button for 3s to turn on the remote control,then
the indicator light flashes green, and then turn on mobile phone Bluetooth to
enter the search state,select “LJ-8858” from the list of available devices and
the green light will be change from flashing green to steady green after the
connection succeeds. Enter the phone camera mode,press the shutter button to
take a picture .
Turn off the remote control: Press and hold the Shutter button for 3s to
turn it off.
Charge description
- Insert the Micro USB cable into the charging port of the remote control to charge it when the battery capacity of the remote control is insufficient.
- Low battery prompt: Please charge it as soon as possible when the red light starts to flicker.
- Dormant State: After the remote control is turned on it will enter the dormant state and the flicker light will be off, if it is not connected to Bluetooth within 10 minutes. Also the remote will enter the dormant state, if it is connected to Bluetooth successfully but not be operated within 10 minutes, and then it will automatically turn off if not be operated within 30 minutes.
- Awakening from the dormant state: In the dormant state, the camera indicator light will be on once by short pressing the shutter button, and then enter the pairing flicker state.
Warm tips
- For Android phones, if you cannot use the remote control to take pictures or videos normally, please enter the“Settings”of the phone camera and set the“Volume” Key Function from “Zoom” to “Shutter” . If you turn on the remote control within 10m, the previously paired smartphone will automatically reconnect, so when switching phones, please cancel the Bluetooth pairing of the previously connected phone before connecting a new one.
- The charging time of the remote control is about 1h. The indicator light will turn to red in the charging process, and the red light will be off after the charging is over.
How to install the mobile phone and use horizontal and vertical screens
Use of horizontal screen
- Lean the mobile phone sideways against the handle on the upper side of the holder and push the mobile phone up, and then install the mobile phone inward, and finally adjust the horizontal screen of the mobile phone to the middle of the holder.
Use of vertical screen

As shown in the figure above, rotate the phone holder 90° towards the remote control side,and then rotate the phone holder to the front to complete the vertical screen operation.

The holder can be rotated 90° forward, 20° backward vertically,and 360° horizontally.
How to take selfies
Ensure that the cell phone clip is towards the same side of the remote control
(in case of being not towards the same side,the clip can be rotated),and then
bend the cell phone clip inward.
How to take out the mobile phone
Hold the phone sideways, hold the product with one hand and push up the mobile
phone to push off the push handle with the other hand to take out the mobile
phone.
