WARNING

Fire Hazard

• Never place items in the washer that are dampened with gasoline or other flammable fluids.
• No washer can completely remove oil.
• Do not dry anything that has ever had any type of oil on it {including cooking oils).
• Doing so can result in death, explosion, or fire.

• Do not dry anything that has ever had anything flammable on it (even after washing).
• Place dryer at least 18 inches (460 mm) above the floor for a garage installation.
• Failure to do so can result in death, explosion, or fire.

SAFETY INFORMATION: WASHER

• This washer is intended only for washing clothes and textiles in water. Do not use for any other purpose.

• The door is locked during washer operation. Do not attempt to open the door until the cycle has finished.

• FIRE HAZARD: Never place items in the washer that contain petrol or other flammable fluids. No washer can completely remove oil. Do not tumble dry anything that has had any kind of oil on it (including cooking oils). Doing so can result in death, explosion, or fire.

• This washer is not designed for washing items that may create an explosive atmosphere inside the washer and must not be used for this purpose.

• Do not use a hypochlorite additive, as it may cause corrosion, and may result in component failure under certain circumstances.

• Do not use this dryer without the lint screen in place.

• Clean the lint screen before each load.

• Do not use this dryer if industrial chemicals have been used for cleaning. The possible presence of residual quantities of aggressive or decomposed chemicals in the load may produce damage to the dryer and harmful fumes.

• This dryer shall not be used to dry off solvents or dry-cleaning fluids.

• Adequate ventilation must be provided to avoid the backflow of gases into the room from appliances burning other fuels, including open fires.

• The fresh air ventilation openings into the room and into the dryer must not be blocked or sealed.

• This dryer is not designed for drying items that may create an explosive atmosphere inside the dryer and must not be used for this purpose.

• Opening the dryer door will stop the function of the dryer. The final part of a tumble dryer cycle occurs without heat (cooldown cycle) to ensure that the articles are left at a temperature that will not damage them.

• WARNING: Never stop a tumble dryer before the end of the drying cycle unless all items are quickly removed and spread out to dissipate the heat (to avoid the risk of spontaneous combustion).

• Items that have been soiled with substances such as acetone, alcohol, petrol, kerosene, spot removers, turpentine, waxes, and wax removers should be washed in hot water with extra detergent before being dried in the dryer.

• Items such as foam rubber (latex foam), shower caps, waterproof textiles, rubber-backed articles, and clothes or pillows filled with foam rubber pads should not be dried in the dryer.

• Fabric softeners, or similar products, should be used as specified in the fabric softener instructions.

• Emergency stop control: After installation, access to the mains plug or disconnection from the mains supply via a double-pole switch, must be ensured at all times to ensure the immediate deactivation of the dryer in case of an emergency.

• When loading or reloading the dryer, avoid touching hot metal parts of the drum (risk of burn).
