ISSUE ADDRESSED
The purpose of this Tech Bulletin is to educate users and technicians on the meaning of codes presented by the status lights, and to prescribe a routine inspection of the UV component function. This will help ensure that UV failure does not occur unnoticed.
WARNING
MICROBIOLOGICAL HAZARD

Guzzle H2O products are 3rd party tested in accordance with US EPA Guidelines for Ultraviolet Disinfection to inactivate 99.99% of viruses, protozoa, and bacteria. Guzzle H20 products do not remove toxins, heavy metals, or treat chemically contaminated water, and will not make potable water from sources with these contaminants. Observe all instructions and specifications in this document. When in doubt, treated drinking water should be tested by the user to verify its safety to consume.

POTENTIAL HAZARDS
If the UV chamber is not properly functioning, it may not be able to meet specified sanitization performance. This will mean that microbiological hazards may not be reduced.
BACKGROUND
Important information is communicated by the LED status lights on the 211-0000 LED UV CHAMBER WITH FLOW SENSING SWITCH. This part is included on the above listed Guzzle H2O Stealth products. Understanding these codes and what they mean is critical to verification that the UV treatment is active. If UV treatment is determined to NOT BE active, use of the product should be terminated immediately. Refer to Aquisense LED Status Codes chart above.
INSPECTION CHECKLIST
Complete this inspection checklist on a monthly basis:

[ ] | 1) Turn on water supply to Stealth product. |
[ ] | 2) Turn on power to LED UV chamber. Observe BLUE FLASHING indicating |
Pulse Care active (parts with S/N 221110000 and higher.)
[ ]| 3) Observe Green Light ON; Blue Light OFF.
[ ]| 4) Turn on water at faucet. Allow water to run for 90 seconds.
Observe steady Green Light ON and Blue Light ON. If Blue Light does not turn
on, UV is not functional. Discontinue use and contact Guzzle H2O.
[ ]| 5) Verify that no error codes present. Blue and Green Lights should
remain on as long as water flows. Any error codes that present may indicate
that UV is not functional. Discontinue use of system and contact Guzzle H2O.
[ ]| 6) Turn off water at faucet. Turn power to LED UV chamber OFF.
