OPERATION

Time-of-Day Clock Setting

  1. Press and hold the CLOCK button for 3 seconds.
    The time-of-day will slowly flash on the display.

  2. Press the H (hours), M (minutes), or S (seconds) button to advance the time-of-da y. Press and hold down the H or M button to rapidly advance the display. The S button will reset the second digits to zero when in the O to 30 seconds range, in the 31 to 59 seconds range it will reset the seconds to zero and advance the minutes by one.
    NOTE: For PM time, P will appear on the display under the colon.

  3. Once the desired time-of-day is on the display, press the CLOCK button to confirm your entry.

  4. To set the 12 or 24-hour format, make sure the clock is displayed. Press and hold the START/STOP button for 3 seconds to toggle between the 12 and 24 hour formats.

Countdown Alarm Timing

  1. Press the T1, T2, T3, or T 4 button. The display will show T1, T2, T3 or T4 in the right corner. If the channel is running, press the START/STOP button and then press the C button. The display should read 0:00 00.

  2. Press the H (hours) button to advance the hour digits. Each press is confirmed with a sound. Press and hold down the H button to rapidly advance the hours.
    Press the M (minutes) button to advance the minutes digits. Each press is confirmed with a sound. Press and hold down the M button to rapidly advance the minutes.
    Press the S (seconds) button to advance the seconds digits. Each press is confirmed with a sound. Press and hold down the S button to rapidly advance the seconds.

  3. Once the desired time is on the display, press the START/STOP button to begin timing down.
    All four timing channels can be running simultaneous! y, simply follow steps 1 through 3 to set countdown times for each channel. When a channel is timing but is not being displayed, the corresponding channel indicator (T1, T2, T3, or T4) will flash on the display.

  4. When the timing channel reaches 0:00 00, an alarm will sound for 60 seconds and the channel will begin counting up until turned off.
    When a timing channel reaches 0:00 00 but is not being displayed, the alarm for that channel will sound for 60 seconds. The corresponding channel indicator (T1, T2,T3 or T4) will begin to flash slower and the channel will begin counting up.

When multiple channels are alarming, the alarm for the most recent channel to reach 0:00 00 will sound.

EXAMPLE: lfT1 is alarming (1 beep) and T2 reaches 0:00 00, you will hear the alarm for T2 (2 beeps).
The alarm will sound for 60 seconds and then turn off automatically. To turn the alarm off manually, press any button.
When multiple channels are alarming, pressing any button turns off the alarm and stops the count up timing for the channel being displayed, the other channels will continue counting up. To stop the count-up timing for the other channels, press the corresponding channel button (T1, T2, T3, or T4) and then press the START/STOP button. To clear the display, press the C button.

NOTE: Pressing the C button will clear the display to 0:00 00 and will also clear the last programmed time for that channel. See “Memory Recall” section for recalling the last programmed time.
The timer may be stopped by pressing the START/STOP button and restarted by pressing the START/STOP button (see Timeout Function).

Correcting an Entry
If an error is made during an entry, press the C button to clear the display to zero. To clear an entry when time is running, first stop the timing by pressing the START/STOP button, then press the C button. A timing channel will only clear when time is stopped.

Memory Recall
When timing repetitive intervals, the memory function will recall the last programmed time for each channel.
This feature allows the timer to be dedicated to frequently timed tests. The timer will return to the desired time period again and again.

  1. Follow steps 1 through 4 in the “Countdown Alarm Timing” section.
  2. Once the count up timing has been stopped for the corresponding channel (T1, T2, T3, or T4), press the START/STOP button to recall the original programmed time.
  3. Press the START/STOP button to begin counting down. You may repeat this process as often as needed for each channel.

NOTE: If the C button is pressed when the time is stopped, it clears the display and the memory for the channel being displayed.

Stopwatch (Count-Up) Timing

  1. Press the T1, T2, T3, or T4 button. The display will show T1, T2, T3 or T 4 in the right corner. If the timer is running, press the ST ART/STOP button and then press the C button. The display should read 0:00 00.

  2. Press the START/STOP button to begin count-up timing.
    All four timing channels can be running simultaneously, simply follow steps 1 through 2 to begin count-up timing for the other channels.
    When a channel is timing but is not being displayed, the corresponding channel indicator (T1, T2, T3, or T4) will flash on the display.
    The timer may be stopped by pressing the START/STOP button and restarted by pressing the START/STOP button (See Timeout Function).

  3. When timing has been completed for a channel (T1, T2, T3, or T4) and the timing has been stopped, press the C button to clear the display to 0:00 00.

Timeout
Any channel may be stopped during any running time.
Press the corresponding channel button (T1, T2, T3, or T4) to display the channel, then press the START/STOP button. Timing may be resumed by pressing the START/STOP button.

ALL OPERATIONAL DIFFICULTIES
If this timer does not function properly for any reason, please replace the battery with a new high quality battery (see “Battery Replacement” section).
Low battery power can occasionally cause any number of “apparent” operational difficulties.
Replacing the battery with a new fresh battery will solve most difficulties.

BATTERY REPLACEMENT
An incorrect display, no display or operational difficulties indicate that the battery should be replaced. Use a coin to open the battery cover on the back of the timer (turn the cover approximately 1/8 of a turn counter-clockwise). Equivalent battery replacements are: RAYOVAC RW42, DURACELL 0357, and EVEREADY 357. Insert the battery with the positive side facing you. Replace the battery cover.
