ELECTRICAL SAFETY WARNINGS

WARNING! When using mains powered tools, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, personal injury and material damage.
Before operating the tool, carefully read the entire manual and be certain you know how to switch the unit off in case of an emergency.
Be sure to save these instructions and any other documents supplied with this unit for future reference.
Note: Bielmeier tools are interchangeable for use in the United States and Canda.
Note: The power outlet used for the power tools/charger must be protected by a 30mA ground fault circuit interrupter or earth leakage circuit breaker. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by an electrician or a power tool repairer in order to avoid a hazard.
Note: Doube insulation does not take the place of normal safety precautions when operating this tool. The insulation system is added to prevent against potential injury slould an electrical failure occur with the tool.

GENERAL POWER TOOL SAFETY WARNINGS

WARNING! Read all safety warnings and all instructions. Failure to follow the warnings and instructions may result in electric shock, fire and/or serious injury.

Save all warnings and instructions for future reference. The term “power tool” in the warnings refers to your mains operated (corded) power tool or battery operated (cordless) power tool.
Work area safety
■ Keep work area clean and well lit. Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents.
■ Do not operate power tools in explosive atmosphere, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases or dust. Power tools create sparks which may ignite the dust or fumes.
■ Keep children and bystanders at a safe distance while operating a power tool. Getting distracted while using the tool may lead to injury for the operator or bystanders if not exercising proper safety.
Electrical safety
■ Power tool plugs must match the outlet. Never modify the plug in any way. Do not use any adapter plugs with earthed (grounded) power tools. Unmodified plugs and matching outlets will reduce risk of electric shock.
■ Avoid bodily contact with earthed or grounded surfaces, such as pipes, radiators, ranges and refrigerators. There is an increased risk of electric shock if your body is earthed or grounded.
■ Do not expose power tools to rain or wet conditions. Water entering a power tool will increase the risk of electric shock.
■ Do not abuse the cord. Never use the cord for carrying, pulling or unplugging the power tool. Keep cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts. Damaged or entangled cords increase the risk of electric shock.
■ When operating a power tool outdoors, use an extension cord suitable for outdoor use. Use of a cord suitable for outdoor use reduces the risk of electric shock.
■ If operating a power tool in a damp location is unavoidable, use a ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) protected supply with a rated leakage current of 30 mA or less. Use of a GFCI reduces the risk of electric shock.
Personal safety
■ Always be sure to pay close attention to what you are doing when operating a power tool. Do not use a power tool when you are tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication. A moment of inattention while operating power tools may result in serious personal injury.
■ Use personal protective equipment. Always wear eye protection. Under the appropriate condition, protective equipment such as a dust mask, non-skid safety shoes, hard hat, or hearing protection can reduce personal injuries.
■ Prevent unintentional starting. Make sure the switch is in the off-position before picking up or carrying the tool or connecting the unit to a power source/battery pack. Carrying power tools with your finger on the switch or energizing power tools that have the switch on may lead to accidents.
■ Remove any adjusting key or wrench before turning the power tool on. A wrench or a key left attached to a rotating part of the power tool may result in personal injury.
■ Do not over reach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times. This enables better control of the power tool in unexpected situations.
■ Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. Keep your hair, clothing and gloves away from moving parts. Loose clothes, jewelry or long hair, can get caught in moving parts resulting in serious injury.
■ If devices are provided for the connection of dust extraction and collection facilities, ensure these are connected and properly used.
Power tool use and care
■ Do not force the power tool. Use the correct power tool for your application. The correct power tool will do a better and safer job when used for its designed purpose.
■ Do not use the power tool if the on/off switch is malfunctioning. Any power tool that cannot be controlled with the switch is dangerous and must be repaired.
■ Disconnect the plug from the power source and/or the battery pack from the power tool before making any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing power tools. This helps reduce the risk of starting the power tool accidentally.
■ Store idle power tools out of the reach of children. Do not allow persons unfamiliar with the power tool to operate it without first reading these instructions. Power tools are dangerous in the hands of untrained users.
■ Properly maintain power tools. Check for misalignment or binding of moving parts, breakage of parts and any other condition that may affect the power tool’s operation. If damaged, have the power tool repaired before use. Many accidents are caused by poorly maintained power tools.
■ Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Properly maintained cutting tools with sharp cutting edges are less likely to bind and are easier to control.
■ Use the power tool, accessories, and tool bits, etc. by following these instructions, taking into account the working conditions and the work to be performed. Use of the power tool for operations different from those intended could create a hazardous situation.
Service
■ Have your power tool serviced by a qualified repair person using only identical replacement parts.This will ensure that the power tool is properly and safely maintained.
■ If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons to prevent any potential hazard.

STAPLE GUN SAFETY WARNINGS

WARNINGS! This appliance is not intended for use by persons including children with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
Always assume that the tool contains fasteners. Careless handling of the stapler or nailer can result in unexpected firing of fasteners and personal injury.
■ Do not point the tool towards yourself or anyone nearby. Unexpected triggering will discharge the fastener causing an injury.
■ Do not actuate the tool unless the tool is placed firmly against the workpiece. If the tool is not in contact with the workpiece, the fastener may be deflected away from your target.
■ Disconnect the tool from the power source when the fastener jams in the tool. While removing a jammed fastener, the nailer or stapler may be accidentally activated if it is plugged in.
■ Do not use this stapler or nailer for fastening electrical cable. It is not designed for electric cable installation and may damage the insulation of electric cables thereby causing electric shock or fire hazards.
■ Always use both hands to operate the tool. Your secondary hand should be used to press the back of the tool firmly down onto the surface to be fastened.

STAPLE AND NAIL MEASUREMENTS
This tool accepts staples and nails with the measurement below:Bielmeier

This staple nailer only accepts T50 staples. Other types of staples, including paper staples, will jam the unit.

  1. Hold the tool upside down.
  2. Squeeze the magazine latches on either side of the tool and pull the magazine out of the tool.
  3. Insert a row of staples into the opening behind the nose piece.
  4. Push the loaded magazine blck into the unit until it clips into place.

NOTE: Rown of staples longer than 120mm do not fit in the staple nail gun.

LOADING NAILS
This staple nailer only accepts 18 Gauge C1 Brad nails up to 15mm in length. Other types of nails will jam the unit.

  1. Hold the tool upside down.
  2. Squeeze the magazine latches on either side of the tool and pull the magazine out of the tool.

  4. Push the loaded magazine back into the unit until it clips into place.

CONTROL

WARNING! The power supply for this product should be protected by a residual current device (rated at 30mA or less).

Switching On and Off

  1. To supply the tool with power, push the power switch to the “I”position.
  2. To turn off , push the power switch to the “O” position.

OPERATION

WARNING! Always wear eye protection with side shields marked to comply with ANSI Z87.1. Failure to do su could result in objects being thrown into your eyes and other possible serious injuries.
WARNING! Do not allow familiarity with this product to make you careless. Remember that a careless fraction of a second is sufficient to inflict serious injury.
WARNING! Do not use this tool for fastening electrical cable or wire. It is not designed for electrical cables, causing electric shock or a fire hazard.
Firing a Staple or Nail
A staple or nail will only fire when the trigger is pressed if the safety striker pin is pushed against the material to be fastened.

  1. Switch the on/off swich into the on position.

  2. Place the staple nail gun against the work surface so that the nosepiece of the tool is where you want the staple/nail to be located.
    Push the safety striker pin and nosepiece down onto the surface to be fastened.

  3. To fire the staple nail gun, squeeze tthe trigger.

TROUBLESHOOTING
WARNING! Ensure the tool is switched off and the battery is removed before performing any of the following tasks.

JAMMED STAPLE NAIL GUN

  1. Squeeze the magazine latches on either side of the tool and pull the magazine out of the tool.

  2. Using a pair of pliers, remove any jammed staples or nails. NOTE: Be careful not to bend the end of the magazine.
    If this occurs the unit will be inoperable.

  3. With the magazine still open, tap the safety srticker pin against a surface to dislodge any loose staples.

CARING FOR ENVIORNMENT

Power tools that are no longer usable should not be disposed of with household waste but in an environmentally friendly way. Please recycle where facilities exist. Check with your local council authority for recycling advice.
