Safety Tips! WARNING!

  • Always shut off the water supply before removing the existing faucet and/or installing a new one. Turn on the hot and cold knobs on the existing faucet to release the built-up pressure.

Installation

  1. Remove the rubber washer, metal washer and the black locknut from the threaded shank (Figure 1).

  2. Check before installation: (Figure 2).
    A. Check and make sure the threaded shank is tight in the faucet’s body by screwing with your hand. (Otherwise the faucet will not be secured tight to the counter/sink with the black lock nut.)
    B. Check and make sure the 2 hoses (hot and cold water connection hose) inside the faucet’s body are tight with the cartridge inside the faucet’sbody by screwing with your hand one by one.(Otherwise water may leak from the inside body of the faucet.)

  3. Place the faucet body into the faucet hole of the deck/sink (Figure 3). A standard 1-3/8″ hole is required for this faucet.

  4. From underneath the deck/sink, slide the rubber washer followed by the metal washer all the way up to the threaded shank (Figure 4).

  5. Screw the black locknut all the way up to the threaded shank until it is tight (Figure 4).

  6. Screw the female ends of the connecting hoses to the corresponding hot and cold water supply  alves by using an adjustable wrench or plier (Figure 5).

  7. Screw off the faucet’s sprayer head. Turn on the water supply (Figure 6). Let the water run for about 30 seconds to flush any dirt that maybe in the system. Then screw on the sprayer head and make sure the screen/washer is in place. Test the faucet by  turning the faucet on and off. Make sure the water flow is right and no leaks. If it leaks, turn the water supply off and contact AguaStella at aguastellausa@outlook.com.
