Product Usage Instructions

Preparation

  1. Attach the Motor Bracket on the outside of the grill’s left side (or right, depending on the grill) with M5 Bolts&Nuts(G). Keep screws loose until height adjustment has been set. To set the proper height for your need, Motor Bracket(B) is adjustable, please adjust the bracket: to loosen the screws and move the bracket to the proper hole, then tighten the screws securely.
  2. Screw the Spit Rods(C) together. Tighten the spit rod securely with pliers.

Assembly

  1. Slide Meat Forks (D) and Rod Bushing (E) through the Spit Rod (C), screw in the thumb screws to hold the forks and rod bushing in place.
  2. Mount the Rod Support Bracket(F) directly to the grilling surface, and tighten the wing screws to hold the Rod Support Bracket in place.
    To set the proper height for your needs, Rod Support Bracket(F) is adjustable, please adjust the Support Piece: to loosen the Wing Nut and Bolt and move the support piece to the proper hole, tighten the wing screws securely.

Final Assembly

  1. Mount the Motor (A) onto the Motor Bracket (B).
  2. Slide the Spit Rod into the Motor socket, ensuring proper alignment with the Rod Support Bracket(F).
  3. Check that the spit rod(C) is level and make adjustments if needed on both Motor Bracket(B) and Rod Support Bracket(F).

Ensure that the spit rod is level for optimal performance. Cook food using the indirect cooking method with the rotisserie.

Preparation

Installation

  5. Mount the Motor (A) onto the Motor Bracket (B).

Final Adjustment

The spit rod(C) should be level, adjustment will need to be made on both the Motor Bracket(B) and Rod Support Bracket(F). Once the proper Motor Bracket height is determined, use a screwdriver to tighten the Motor Bracket.

Operating Tips

  • Tie meat or poultry with a string to make the shape as uniform as possible before putting it on the spit rod.
  • Push the rotisserie spit rod through the approximate centre of the food.
  • Remount the food if necessary for better balance.
  • If foods are too heavy or have irregular shapes, they may not rotate well and should be cooked by the indirect cooking method without using the rotisserie.
