Frequently Asked Questions about Watch Use
Q1 | How to charge and turn on and off the watch? |
---|---|
A1 | 1.Our watch is equipped with a special magnetic charging cable, you just |
need to put the magnetic part of the charging cable close to the magnetic hole
on the back of the watch and turn on the power. If the direction is correct,
it will be firmly attached, on the contrary, the charging cable will move and
will not be charged.
2. When you get a new watch, you need to charge the watch for 2 hours first,
and then use it when it is fully charged, so as to better protect the watch
battery life. Please note: Do not use fast charger (more than 5V) to charge
the watch, fast charging is easy to damage the battery.
3. Long press the button on the side of the watch to turn it off or on.
Q2| Can I use a mobile power bank to charge the watch?
A2| 1. This may involve compatibility issues. Mobile power is usually a
charging device designed for cell phones. When the cell phone is finished
charging, the charging current will decrease to save power, and eventually the
mobile power will stop charging. However, the charging current of a watch is
usually less than 100mA, which may cause the mobile power to incorrectly
believe that the watch is fully charged and stop charging. Therefore, charging
the watch with the mobile power may encounter such a problem.
Q3| What will be the impact of not charging the watch for a long time?
| 1. If the watch is not charged for a long period of time after the battery
is depleted, the watch will not turn on. To ensure that the watch operates
properly, it is recommended that the watch be fully charged periodically when
it is not being worn.
Q4| How long is the standby time of the watch?
| 1.The standby time of this watch is 30 days, and under normal circumstances,
the watch can be used for 3-5 days. It should be noted here that the length of
time the watch is used is affected by many factors. For example, how often the
watch is used, the use of functions.
Q5| Why does my watch consume power so quickly?
| 1. If you use it often to make phone calls or listen to music, the watch’s
battery will run out quickly. In order to minimize the rapid power consumption
of the watch, you can use it less to listen to music or make phone calls.
2. If you turn on some functions, such as flipping the wrist to light up the
screen and 24-hour health monitoring, it will increase power consumption and
shorten the battery life. Note: If the charging head used for charging the
watch is not 5V and it is charged through a high power charger, this may cause
damage to the capacitor.
3. The watch has a quality defect that causes rapid power consumption.
4. The watch has not been turned on for a long time or has remained idle for
a long time without charging after the power has been depleted, which may
cause the battery capacity to deteriorate and affect the battery life.
Frequently Asked Questions about Step Counting
Q1 | How does the watch count my steps? |
---|---|
A1 | 1. This watch has a relatively high-precision accelerometer sensor built |
in. By integrating the accelerometer you can detect the displacement of the
watch in space to determine if a new step has been created. If you wear the
watch and take 50 consecutive steps without irregular movement, the watch will
record your new steps. If you move irregularly within 50 steps, the watch will
recount your steps. Our watch optimizes the step counting algorithm to a smart
ant interference mode.
Q2| Why doesn’t the watch count steps?
A2| 1. When the watch is in sleep state, the bracelet is not counting steps.
For example, when waking up in the morning, the bracelet needs to be in the
wake-up state to start counting steps.
Wake up the watch: connect the watch to the charger and energize it, press the
button on the side of the watch once and then let go, remove the charging
cable, and then walk a few dozens of steps continuously with the watch to see
if the watch can count the steps. There is an automatic learning process for
pedometer, which is automatically adapted according to different people’s
behavior.
A3| Why is my step count inaccurate?
Q3| 1. You need to successfully connect two Bluetooth (DaFit app Bluetooth
and audio Bluetooth), and then complete your personal information in DaFit,
such as height, weight, etc., which are related to your numerical values.
2. Your hand tremor and movement will also be affected.
A4| Why is the step count displayed on the watch different from the “Apple
Health” step count?
Q4| 1. The steps displayed in Apple Health are calculated based on steps
uploaded from multiple data sources (apps) using an algorithm unique to the
Apple Health platform, rather than directly displaying steps uploaded by our
apps. It does not directly display the steps uploaded by our app. We recommend
that you set our app as the first data source. However, we cannot guarantee
that the number of steps displayed in our app will match the number of steps
in [Apple Health].
Frequently Asked Questions about Health Monitoring/Sleep Monitoring
Q1 | What factors will affect health measurement results? |
---|---|
A1 | 1. Non-standard wear and tear can affect the measurement signal, such as |
light leakage caused by incomplete assembly.
2. Swinging your arm, slight movement of the watch on your skin, etc.,
wearing it too tightly, raising your arm, punching, etc., will affect your
blood circulation and thus the measurement signal.
Correct measurement method: Arms flat, relaxed and motionless, close to the
watch. (Note that despite wearing the watch correctly, individual differences
such as their skin color, hair, tattoos, scars, etc. can also affect the
measurement signal).
Q2| How to measure my heart rate correctly?
A2| 1. Place the luminous part of the watch close to the skin (wrist) to
ensure that the watch does not sway excessively during movement (adjust the
watch band to achieve a comfortable tightness). A strap that is too loose or
too tight will affect the measurement results (avoid light leakage and
displacement of reflected light).
Note: Do not place the illuminated portion of the watch close to the
protruding bones (radius and ulna) on the side of the wrist, as the watch may
not receive the red light reflected from the blood vessels correctly, thus
affecting the measurement results.
2. Tap the heart rate module on the watch and wait for about 1 minute, the
measurement result will be displayed.
Q3| Where is the all-day heart rate turned on?
A3| 1. Successfully connect the APP Bluetooth and audio Bluetooth, open “Da
Fit” to find other settings, turn on the all-day heart rate function, and set
the time interval to measure once.
Q4| How does the watch measure my heart rate?
A4| 1. The watch utilizes a photoelectric transmission method for heart rate
measurement: a sensor in contact with the skin emits a beam of light on the
skin and then measures the reflected/transmitted light. The blood absorbs a
specific wavelength of light; each time the heart pumps, this light is
absorbed in large quantities, based on which the number of heartbeats can be
determined. Heart rate measurements are based on hotoplethysmography (PPG),
so the accuracy and consistency of the measurements are related to “gender,
age, body mass index (BMI), weather, race or color, health status, or VO2
Max”. Sweat or other impurities on the wrist, dark skin (which does not absorb
light well), weather conditions, and humidity may affect the results.
Q5| Why does the back of the watch automatically emit green light?
A5| 1.Design Concept: Pulse is measured by changing the transmittance of
blood, then converting it to electrical signals and recording it through
simple light reflection; our blood is red and can absorb green light to the
maximum extent; the final data after reflection is the most accurate, so we
use green LED as the tool for heart rate measurement.2. If you enable the
automatic heart rate monitoring function, your heart rate will be measured
automatically. You can also choose manual heart rate measurement. During the
measurement, the heart rate LED will automatically blink and emit green light.
Q6| How to use sleep monitoring?
A6| 1. When you go to bed and wear the watch to sleep, the watch will
automatically record your sleep. The watch generally only monitors sleep at
night (8pm 9am the next day) and will not monitor sleep at other times.
Q7| How does the smart watch measure my sleep?
A7| 1. Sleep monitoring is done through a built-in sensor.
The sensor detects small movements of your hand to determine whether your body
is in an active state or a quiet sleep state. During your sleep, the watch
records the frequency of your hand movements and analyzes whether you are in a
deep or light sleep state to analyze the quality of your sleep and provide
recommendations.
Q8| What are the meanings of deep sleep, light sleep, awake sleep and rapid
eye movement (REM) sleep?
A8| 1. deep sleep, light sleep, wakeful sleep, and REM sleep are determined
by changes in sensor levels during your sleep.
2. If the detected sensor level remains high for an extended period of time,
it may indicate that you are not sleeping. If a high sensor level remains only
for a short period of time, it can be filtered out and your sleep quality
analyzed.
3. The sensor obtains sleep data based on your body movements. It is in
contact with your wrist and is able to detect your body movements. The watch
will determine your sleep status based on the frequency of your body
movements. Frequent body movements indicate light sleep, while there is
relatively little body movement during deep sleep.
4. REM (Rapid Eye Movement) sleep is a sleep stage in which your eyes move
rapidly and unconsciously.
During this stage, neuronal activity in your brain is the same as when you are
awake. Most vivid dreams that can be recalled later occur during REM sleep.
This is the lightest of the sleep stages.
