Tips

Problems to be noted for connection
For Android phone

  1. Connect the receiver to the phone, but the light of the receiver does not light up. Because some phones require OTG to be enabled to connect to this mic(e.g. OPPO/VIVO/IQOO/Realme phones disable OTG by default). Search for [OTG] or [USB] in [Settings] and enable OTG. You can also search on Google or ask your dealer how to enable OTG according to your phone model.
  2. Some phones (e.g. OnePlus) can use the microphone when audio recording, but there is no sound during video recording. You can try setting your phone’s camera (example: [Settings] – [Sound and Vibration] – [Advanced Settings] – [Default Recorder] – [Add-On]) or ask your dealer to see if your phone supports external microphones. Of course, you can also Google according to your phone model: How to use an external microphone on xx phone.
  3. Some phones do not support external microphones due to system reasons, you can download the [Open Camera] software, open [Open Camera] – [Settings] -[Video Settings] – [Audio Source] – [External Microphone] to fix it. You can also search for “phone can’t connect to the external microphone” on Google or YouTube depending on your phone model to solve the problem.

For iPhone/iPad

  1. Not compatible with the USB-C iPad series
  2. If the device cannot be matched, please upgrade your phone to the latest version and exit all open programs, and restart the device.
  3. If you find that it is not compatible, you can also search Google or YouTube for “iPhones can’t connect to microphone” to solve the problem
If this microphone still does not work after trying the above, you can contact us and we will provide you with a solution or refund.

How to make the sound more clear?

  1. Because this microphone is for omnidirectional live broadcast, it is not professional-grade studio equipment, although it has a built-in noise reduction function because it picks up a lot of sounds, it will occasionally be a bit noisy due to environmental problems, you can use the software post-production to remove them
  2. You can use it with the following points in mind to avoid noise.
    • a. Keep the microphone at least 18 cm/7 inches away from the sound source to avoid popping
    • b. Keep away from sources of noise (e.g. fans, air conditioners, refrigerators, clothes rubbing)
    • c. Keep the microphone relatively still during the performance to reduce noise
  3. The main advantage of the microphone is that it can record from a greater distance than a mobile phone

How to pause the recording?
Slide the mute button up while recording to pause the recording, and continue recording by sliding the mute button down.

  • The microphone is only recording, can not amplify the sound, and can not store the sound
  • It is recommended not to use headphones, because the headphones may occupy the microphone input
