IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
GETTING TO KNOW YO UR HEATER
MAINTENANCE
- Switch off and unplug the heater, then allow to cool for l O minutes before removing from the aquarium.
- Clean the heater using fresh, clean water.
- Reinstall the heater into the aquarium at the 45° angle – ensuring the heater is positioned below the minimum water line.
- Then turn the power for the heater back on.
INSTALLATION
- Set the temperature using the dial on the top of the heater. For tropical species it should be set between 23°C and 26°C.
- Using the suckers provided, install the heater into the aquarium in an area of high flow and ensuring it is positioned below the minimum water line of the aquarium. Position the heater at a 45° angle to get the best heating affect.
POSITIONING
- Once the aquarium is filled with water, turn the heater on at the power supply. The red indicator light will turn on to show the heater is on, and will then turn off once the water has reached your set temperature.
Important :
- This heater is designed to be used fully submerged, to a maximum depth of 1.2m.
- To prevent any drips of water from entering the electrical socket, a drip loop for the heater cable should be created.
Top tip
a small amount of condensation might appear on the inside of the glass, this
is normal and won’t effect the performance of the heater.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
- Children shall not play with the appliance
- Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
- The supply cord cannot be replaced. If the cord is damaged the appliance should be scrapped.
- WARNING: Unplug or switch off all appliances in the aquarium before carrying out maintenance.
- Keep the appliance and its cord out of the reach of children less than 8 years of age.
- Be sure to let the appliance cool down before maintenance and unplug it from the wall socket.
- Be sure that when the appliance is in operation it remains fully submerged.
- Do not attempt to repair or make any modifications to the appliance.
- The maximum operating depth of the appliance is 1.2m.
- Only to be used indoor – but not in a bathroom.
GUARANTEE
- This product is guaranteed as free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of l year from the date of purchase.
- The guarantee covers only any defects caused during normal use and operation of the heater, in accordance with the instructions enclosed. It does not apply to any unauthorised modifications or misuse, improper or inadequate maintenance, or operations outside of the product specifications.
- In case of defect within the stated warranty period, the product should be returned, with proof of purchase, to the point of purchase.
- This guarantee does not affect your statutory rights. Guarantee service includes repair or replacement of the heater at lnterpet Ltds discretion. Neither lnterpet nor the manufacturer are liable for an direct, indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages, including loss of livestock, arising from a defect in this product.
- This product must not be disposed of with household waste. This product has to be disposed of at an authorised place for recycling of electrical and electronic appliances.
