Product Usage Instructions

Charging

1. Before using, make sure to use the correct wall plug adapter corresponding to your country.
2. Insert the large end of the USB charging cord into a power adapter and then insert the pin into the socket on the right side of the device.
3. Plug the power adapter into an outlet or connect the USB to a computer.
4. A pulsing white light indicates correct charging. Battery indicator lights show the level of charge.

Before Using for the First Time:

Your DERMAPORE+ is rechargeable and takes about 90 minutes to fully charge. A full charge provides up to 90 minutes of use.

How to Use Extract Mode

1. Use once per week initially, then adjust the frequency as desired.
2. Apply PREP MIST on wet skin before starting the treatment.
3. Ensure skin stays wet throughout the treatment.
4. Maintain contact between your fingertips and the silver strip for effective extraction and skincare active penetration.
5. Cleanse your face, remove makeup, and wet skin with PREP MIST, and activate EXTRACT mode by pressing the power button.

FAQ

• Q: Can I use DERMAPORE+ while charging?
  • A : No, it is not safe to use the device while it is charging.Ensure it is disconnected from the charger during use.
• Q: How often should I use the Extract Mode?
  • A : Start with once a week until your skin adjusts, then you can use it as frequently as desired.

1. Consult with your dermatologist prior to using the DERMAPORE+™ device (DERMAPORE+ or “Device”) if you have medical concerns or have recently had a cosmetic procedure, acid or chemical peel or extreme sunburn.
2. CAUTION : DO NOT use this unit if you have serious allergies, infected skin, or a heart condition.
3. CAUTION: DO NOT use if you have a pacemaker or other electrical medical device without consulting with your physician.
4. Be careful using device around facial jewelry. There may be interference or a magnetic sound associated.
5. DO NOT immerse the full device in water. While the Device is intended to be used when wet, it should not be fully submerged in water. If the product appears damaged or has been submerged in water, discontinue use.
6. DO NOT operate Device in a room with temperatures higher than 40° C / 104° or lower than 0° C / 32° F.
7.  Operate DERMAPORE+ only according to its intended use as described in the full user manual.
8. Exercise particular care when using around the undereye area and do not bring the Device into contact with the eyelids or eyes themselves.
9. DO NOT use DERMAPORE+ on unintended areas of the body. DERMAPORE+ is designed ONLY for facial use.
10. DO NOT use DERMAPORE+ on active acne, psoriasis, eczema, rosacea, open sores, skin with a rash, sunburned or distressed skin or on skin surfaces where cuts, abrasions or any kind of healing is present.
11. DO NOT use the Device on moles, cancerous areas or lesions or on skin that has recently been treated with a laser or recently chemically treated.
12. Some users report a temporary tingling feeling after using the Device. This may be due to increased microcirculation. Cleansing with DERMAPORE+ should be comfortable—if you experience discomfort, discontinue use immediately and consult a physician. DO NOT use DERMAPORE+ if you experience a worsening of the skin (skin feels tense, uncomfortable, irritated, red, burning, etc).
13. Children, under the age of 18, should not use or play with DERMAPORE+. The Device has not been tested on children.
14. DO NOT use DERMAPORE+ device or charging components that are damaged or appear damaged and never attempt to open or repair the device. Doing this could result in injury or possible fatal electric shock. This product contains no serviceable parts.
15. DO NOT use, place or store the DERMAPORE+ device or charging components where it can fall or be pulled into a tub or sink. Neither the device, or charging components are intended for immersion in water.
16. DERMAPORE+ is rechargeable with its included charging components.
17. Use this product only for its intended use as described in this owner’s manual. Call DERMAFLASH at 1-888-821-1289 with any questions or concerns.

Our limited, 1-year warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship of your device as long as you purchased from an authorized retail partner or directly at dermaflash.com. The limited warranty begins on the date of original purchase and expires one year later. The warranty period is not extended by any period even if replaced by the Manufacturer, during the warranty period. The DERMAPORE+ device is warranted to be free from manufacturing defects for a period of 1-year. The warranty DOES NOT cover cosmetic deterioration caused by fair wear and tear, or damage caused by accident, misuse or neglect.

Any attempt to open or take apart the device (or its accessories) will void the warranty. If you discover a defect and notify DERMAFLASH during the warranty period, DERMAFL ASH will, at its discretion, replace the device free of charge. Claims under warranty must be supported by reasonable evidence that the date of the claim is within the warranty period. To validate your warranty, please keep your original purchase receipt together with these warranty conditions for the duration of the warranty period. Shipping costs are nonrefundable. Indications for Use

The DERMAPORE+ Ultrasonic Pore Extractor + Serum infuser is powered by proprietary Ultrasonic + Ionic Technology and has 2 modes: EXTRACT MODE helps to remove pore-clogging dirt, oil + debris and INFUSE MODE helps boost penetration of skincare actives.

Getting to Know Your DERMAPORE+

• Make sure your fingertips maintain contact with the silver strip

This product contains a rechargeable lithium battery. It is installed inside the device. The battery is not a self-serviceable part. Do not attempt to repair or replace the battery sealed inside this product. Products containing an internal battery supply should be recycled or disposed of per state and local guidelines.

For best results, LUXE+ should be used once a week.
CAUTION : We do not recommend using LUXE+ more than once a week. The entire LUXE+ treatment takes approximately 5–10 minutes. For safety and ultimate efficacy, a new Microfine Edge must be used for each facial treatment.

Charging

1. Before using, always make sure you use the correct wall plug adapter which corresponds to the country you are in.
2. Insert large end of the USB charging cord into a power adapter*and insert pin into the socket on right side of device. Plug power adapter into outlet or plug USB into computer.**
3. A pulsing white light will appear when charging correctly.
4. Battery indicator lights on device display level of charge.

READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE

Before Using for the First Time

Your DERMAPORE+ is rechargeable with its included charging USB cord and takes approximately 90 minutes to fully charge. NOTE: A full charge allows up to 90 minutes of use.

USING YOUR DERMAPORE+

We recommend conducting a patch test before using for the first time, especially if you have hypersensitive or reactive skin. How to do a patch test: Cleanse a small section of skin near your jawline, wet skin with PREP MIST and position spatula with the tip angled down at 45°. Make sure your fingertips are touching the silver strip. Hold skin taut with the opposite hand and glide over skin using gentle but firm pressure. Wait 24-48 hours. DO NOT use DERMAPOREE+ if you experience a worsening of the skin (skin feels uncomfortable, irritated, red, burning, etc.). STOP using DERMAPORE+ and consult your doctor. Proceed to Step 1 if the patch test does not cause any issues.

HOW TO USE EXTRACT MODE

Use 1x per week until skin becomes accustomed, then use as often as desired. Always use with PREP MIST for maximum pore-clearing benefits. Skin must remain wet during the ENTIRE treatment.

HOLD HERE

Make sure your fingertips maintain contact with the silver strip during your entire treatment. This allows the ionic technology to extract dirt, oil, and debris, plus boost the penetration of skincare actives.

• Step 1:   Cleanse your face and remove makeup. Wet skin with PREP MIST. Do not use on dry skin. Re-mist as needed to keep skin wet throughout your treatment.
• Step 2: Press the power button once to activate EXTRACT mode. You will hear and feel a steady vibration. NOTE: White light will not illuminate until the spatula makes contact with wet skin.
• Step 3: Position the spatula with the tip angled down at 45°. Make sure your fingertips are touching the silver strip. You’ll see a white light indicating ionic activation.
• NOTE : You will only see the white light if your skin is wet. If you do not see the white light, apply additional PREP MIST so skin is thoroughly wet.
• Step 4: Hold skin taut with the opposite hand. Glide over skin using gentle but firm pressure, as shown in Figure 1. Visible debris from pores will build up on the spatula. Wipe clean as needed.
  Step 5: When finished, use warm soapy water or alcohol to wipe the spatula clean. Apply your favorite serum, moisturizer or treatment mask, then switch to INFUSE mode to help boost penetration of skincare actives.

HOW TO USE INFUSE MODE

• Step 1: Apply your favorite serum, moisturizer or treatment mask to face and neck.
• Step 2: Press the power button twice to activate INFUSE mode. The pulsing vibration indicates that Infuse mode is activated. REMINDER: Keep your hand on the silver strip during treatment.
• Step 3: Position the flat part of spatula against your skin and gently glide the device as shown in Figure 2. You’ll see a blue light indicating the ionization is active.
• Step 4: When finished, pat the remaining product into skin. Use warm soapy water or alcohol to wipe device clean.

Storage

1. Make sure device is unplugged.
2. Store device in its original box or in a clean, dry area.
   • 2. Do not put any stress on cord where it enters charging socket as this could cause cord to fray and break.
