Instructions for use

1. Place the pot on a non-slip surface. Firmly grasp the handle, then pull the plunger unit straight up and out of the pot.

2. Fill the pot with coarsely ground coffee. Use 1 to 2 scoops of coarsely ground coffee for each 8 oz cup. CAUTION: Only use coarsely ground coffee. Fine grounds (such as espresso) may clog the filters and create excessive pressure during operation.

3. Add hot (not boiling) water until it reaches just below the spout. Do not overfill; leave at least 1 inch of space at the top.

4. Gently stir the brew with a stirrer to ensure thorough mixing of water and coffee grounds.
   CAUTION: Metal spoons can scratch or chip the glass beaker, leading to breakage.

5. Attach the plunger unit to the pot. Allow the coffee to brew for a minimum of 4 minutes.

6. Hold the handle firmly and exert downward force on the top of the knob to press the plunger straight into the pot. Depress the plunger slowly and steadily with minimal pressure to achieve the best flavor. WARNING: If the filter becomes stuck or if pressing the plunger is difficult, remove the plunger from the pot, stir the brew, and then attempt to press the plunger down slowly again. Using excessive force can result in scalding liquid splattering from the pot.

• Do not use a glass beaker with scratches, cracks, or chips. Please check before use.

Cleanings Tips

1. Unscrew the filter assembly and clean the plunger unit after each use. All parts are dishwasher-safe.
2. Clean gently with a bottle brush or sponge.
3. Always use neutral detergent.
4. Dry all parts before assembly.
