Specifications
- Indications for Use: Producing drilling guides used in dental surgery
- Compatibility: DLP and LCD printers with 385nm and 405nm light sources
Storage and Transportation
- Store VeriGUIDETM in the original packaging at room temperature in a dry area.
- Always keep the container tightly sealed and close it immediately after each use.
- Avoid exposing VeriGUIDETM to any light source, as even minimal light can induce polymerization.
- If the resin is stored in a tray, stir it before each print using a plastic or paper card to ensure a homogenous mixture.
- Do not use the product past the expiration date. The lot number and expiration date are indicated on the packaging.
- Transport packages at room temperature and away from light in a tightly sealed container to prevent leakage.
Design Recommendation

Processing
- Thoroughly shake the VeriGuIDETM bottle before use.
- Avoid adding supports to the intaglio surface.
- Avoid printing with the end of the surgical guide arch attached to the build plate in any print orientation to prevent failure at the tip of the arch.
- After the build process is finished, post-processing is required. If immediate post-processing is not possible, leave the printed objects in the printer until ready.
Post Processing
- Once the print job is complete, remove the build platform from the printer and carefully remove the printed objects from the platform.
- Rinse the printed objects with Isopropyl alcohol using an ultrasonic bath/washing unit for 5 minutes to eliminate any excess resin.
- Rinse the printed objects with Isopropyl alcohol in a second fresh ultrasonic bath/washing unit for an additional 5 minutes.
- Do not immerse the printed parts in alcohol for more than 10 minutes to prevent material deterioration.
- Allow prints to dry at room temperature or use compressed air to remove excess alcohol.
- Place the printed objects in a light curing unit, such as Otoflash G171, for 6,000 flashes.
- Check for cured debris in the tray after each print job and use a paint strainer to filter out any debris that could potentially cause damage to the tray or printed objects.
- Use a crosscut carbide bur at a slow speed to remove the remaining printed support pins.
- Deviation from the described manufacturing process may result in different mechanical and optical properties of the material.

Indications for Use
Whip Mix VeriGuide™ is a 3D print resin for producing drilling guides used
in dental surgery. VeriGuide™ is compatible with DLP and LCD printers
featuring 385nm and 405nm light sources.
Storage and Transportation
- VeriGuide™ must be stored in the original packaging at room temperature in a dry area.
- Always keep the container tightly sealed and close the container immediately after each use.
- Do not expose VeriGuide™ to any light source. A minimal amount of light can induce polymerization (solidification).
- Resin that is stored in a tray must be stirred before each print using a plastic or paper card (similar to a business card), to ensure a homogenous mixture.
- Do not use the product past the expiration date.
- The lot number and expiration date are indicated on VeriGuide™ packaging. In case of questions or concerns, please refer to the lot number.
- Packages are ideally transported at room temperature and away from light in a tightly sealed container to prevent leakage.
Design Recommendation
- Wall Thickness
- 2 mm
- Internal offset
- ≥ 0.1 mm
- Block out angle
- 0°
- Retention amount
- 0 mm
- Offset from Sleeve
- 0.10 mm

Processing
- When printing with VeriGuide™ 3D Print Resin, make sure the resin is at a temperature between 20°C and 30°C. Extreme high or low temperatures could potentially affect the accuracy of the printed models or cause failure of the printed objects.
- VeriGuide™ bottle must be shaken thoroughly before use.
- Don’t add supports to the intaglio surface.
- Don’t print with the end of the surgical guide arch attached to the build plate with any print orientation because failure could happen at the tip of the arch.
- After the build process is finished, post-processing is required. If this cannot be immediately completed, leave the printed objects in the printer until ready to post process.
Post Processing
-
When the print job is complete, remove the build platform from the printer, and then carefully remove the printed objects from the platform.
-
The printed object must be rinsed with Isopropyl alcohol using an ultrasonic bath/washing unit for 5 minutes to eliminate any excess resin.
-
Printed objects must be rinsed with Isopropyl alcohol in a second fresh ultrasonic bath/washing unit for an additional 5 minutes.
NOTE : Do not immerse the printed parts in alcohol for more than 10 minutes, as prolonged exposure may cause the material to deteriorate. -
To remove excess alcohol, leave prints to dry at room temperature (or compressed air can also be used).
-
Place the printed objects in the light curing unit such as Otoflash G171 for 6,000 flashes.
-
Look for cured debris in the tray after each print job. A paint strainer can be used to filter out any debris. Printing with cured debris could potentially cause damage to the tray or the printed objects.
-
Use crosscut carbide bur at a slow speed to remove the remaining printed support pins.
-
Deviations from the described manufacturing process may lead to different mechanical and optical properties of the material.
-
The surgical guide can be disinfected and is compatible with sterilization methods such as steam/autoclave (up to 135°C for 5 minutes), ethylene oxide, and gamma irradiation. Be sure to follow sterilization guidelines. Please note that gamma irradiation may cause discoloration.
