Installation

Ensure the power supply is turned off before installation.
Select a suitable location for installation. The protector can be installed in a switch box of size 2 x 4 or on a flat surface.
If installing in a switch box, remove the necessary sections to provide access to cable protectors.
If installing on a flat surface, use screws to secure the protector directly.
Follow the wiring instructions (refer to next section) to connect the protector to the equipment and electrical supply.
Once the connections are made, secure the cover on the protector using cable ties through the safety holes.

High voltage detection:
If the voltage is higher than the adjusted maximum, the high-voltage LED light will turn on and the equipment will stay off.
Low voltage detection:
If the voltage is lower than the adjusted minimum, the low-voltage LED light will turn on and the equipment will stay off.
Normal voltage detection:
If the voltage is between the adjusted maximal and minimal range, the time delay LED light will turn on, and then the normal voltage LED light will turn on followed by the equipment.

Capacity:

Turn off the power supply
Select the surface where the protector will be installed; if needed it can be screwed directly over a 2”x4” control box.
Following the guide for fixing screws, make the holes.
Fix and screw the EW-V015-220.
Connect the in and out wires (see wiring instructions on the next page).
Select the allowed operation levels adjusting the knobs for maximum and minimum voltage and time delay inside the suggested range, following the manufacturing recommendations.
Restore the electrical supply.
Turn on the protector.
For a few seconds, the protector will indicate low voltage, and then the time delay will start. Once the adjusted time delay passed, the normal voltage LED light will turn on and the equipment will be powered.
If needed to prevent the handling of connections and adjustments, secure the holes on the cover with cable ties.
