6001-PC: For a direct wire setup

Installation guide

BEFORE YOU START
BEFORE STARTING INSTALLATION, SHUT THE LINE FEED POWER OFF USING THE CIRCUIT BREAKER. Instructions pertaining to a risk of fire, electric shock or injury to persons. Installation must be done according to local electrical codes. Installation should be done by a certified electrician. This class B digital apparatus complies with Canadian ICES-OO5. This digital apparatus does not exceed the Class B limits for radio-noise emissions from digital apparatus as set out in the Radio Interference Regulations of the Canadian Department of Communications.

Surface installation (wires under a shelf or cabinet)

1. Remove the lixture from the surface adapter.

2. With a pencil, mark the position then screw the surface adapter in place with the wire slots in the desired direction.

3. Run the wires through the wire slots, compress the springs of the fixture and push the fixture into the surface adapter.

4. Remove the fixture from the surface adapter.

5. With a pencil. mark the desired position for the surface adapter.

6. With the template, drill two 1/2″ holes lo pass the connector wires through the shelf.

7. Screw the surface adapter in position.

8. Run the wires through the holes, compress the springs of the fixture and push the fixture into the surface adapter.

Recessed installation

1. Remove the fixture from the surface adapter.
2. With a pencil. mark the desired position for the puck.
3. Using the template, drill a 2-5/8″ hole in the shelf.
4. Compress the springs of the fixture and push it into the opening.
