Product Overview
PROZRTED HBS24-12T Smart Digital Instant Hot Water Recirculating Pump System helps you to save several gallons of water while waiting for the water to warm up each year, which contributes to the saving of 10% of your water bill will be saved. You can get instant hot water when you need it, thus no more water is wasted in waiting. PROZRTED Smart Pumps bring you convenience and savings.
Product Features
- HBS24-12T owned digital built-in thermostat, built-in check valve and digital timer, which enables you to easily set the temperature and the time of the pump. The digital screen can display the operation details of the pump.
- PROZRTED HBS Smart Hot Water Recirculating Pump adopts a plastic-sealed permanent magnet synchronous motor with ultra-low safe voltage (24V).
- Easy to install with the necessary accessories including 10′ power cord, connection hoses, brass Tee, washers, etc.
- There are two operation modes can be chosen from, that are Smart constant temperature mode, and manual mode. When the water temperature of the pump is lower than the setting temperature, the pump will push the cold water back to the water heater. As the pipe water temperature hits the setting temperature, the pump will shut off.
- Advanced motor technology, such as Permanent magnet brushless motor DC motor makes the pump more powerful, quieter, and more durable. (Max flow 5.28 GPM, Max head 39.3ft)

power-off.
Power-off memory| The set parameters will be memorized after power-off.
Shut off function| Press the “Heat” key during operation to stop the pump
operation manually.
Temperature/Time Display| Display the current temperature and time
alternately.
Buzzer reminder| Pump button press reminder. Three buzzer reminder when the
pipe water reaches the setting temperature in manual mode.

Warning -

The electric pump must be reliably grounded before use, and the leakage protection device should be installed;

The system where the pump is located must be able to withstand the maximum pump pressure.

Note:
- The minimum temperature of the conveying medium is 2℃, and the maximum temperature does not exceed 70℃.
- The inlet pressure must be higher than 0.005MPa.
Constant temperature mode
It can be individually set to be turned on or off 24 hours a day. The
thermostatic mode is on for a selected period. When the water temperature is
lower than the target temperature 5℃ and the pump runs automatically, and when
the water temperature reaches the target temperature, the water pump shuts
off. (If the pipeline water never reaches the target temperature, it will shut
off for 5 minutes after every 10 minutes of operation).
Manual mode
Press the ‘Heat ‘button to activate the water temperature detection. If the
water temperature is 5℃ lower than the target temperature, the water pump will
run automatically. When the water temperature of the pipeline reaches the
target temperature or the running time reaches 10 minutes and the water pump
shuts off.
GENERAL INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Attention
-
Before product installation, check whether the connection of pipeline system is reliable to ensure impurities, welding Slag, dirt, etc. have been removed. The output of the voltage adapter is a low voltage DC 24V. During installation, a filtering screen can be installed at the inlet of the recirculating pump to filter large particles and impurities in the water, and the filter screen shall be cleaned regularly.

Before installation, please confirm whether the household appliances connected to the cold water end can pass the hot water.

To avoid scalding, pay attention to the temperature of hot water, and do not directly shoot hot water at the human body to avoid scalding.

When the installation method without a return water pipe is adopted, it is possible that the water heater will start when cold water is used.
This is because the resistance of the cold water end is too large, which can be solved by adjusting the hot water angle valve, or by adding a ball valve at the inlet or outlet of the pump. See the picture: -
The HBS24-12T Pump must be installed or maintained by professionals, and it must be vertically hung vertically on the wall or flat the pump on the floor (floor drain nearby). Install according to the product installation diagram. Pay attention to the water pipes connecting the water inlet and outlet connection, and the installation direction of the check valve. After installation, check the product and all water-receiving fittings to prevent water leakage.
The pump should be prevented from being splashed with water to avoid electric shock. -
After connecting the power adapter, conduct a test run of the recirculating pump to check whether the startup is working, but the non water running time shall not exceed 5 seconds to prevent the operation from reducing the bearing life.

When the HBS24-12T Pump works, if you want to adjust the position of the recirculating pump or touch it, the power supply must be the first cut-off to prevent accidents.

Carry out regular inspections and make replacements in time when it is damaged .

If the HBS24-12T Pump is not used for a long time, please turn off the water pipe valve at the inlet and outlet end and cut off the recirculating pump’s power supply. The cable or power adapter, when damaged, must be replaced.

In winter, when the ambient temperature is lower than 0°C, if the electric pump stops running, the water in the pipeline system must be drained to prevent the pump from freezing and cracking.

When using, if there is any abnormal situation, please turn off the power immediately.
-
Please don’t disassemble and assemble this appliance.
-
Do not touch the power plug and switch with wet hands to avoid electric shock.

Don’t install the product where it can’t be drained.
Installation Warnings
- The pump is suitable for gas water heaters, air energy water heaters, wall-hung boilers, solar energy water heaters, electric water heaters, etc.
- Identify whether there is a return pipe, and choose the correct installation diagram.
- Do not install the pump in the reverse direction.
- After installation, remember to turn on the valve of the cold water pipe/hot water pipe/return pipe,
Where To Install The Pump
Install the pump under the faucet farthest from the water heater in each
loop.
Installation Steps
- Shut off the cold water angle valve and hot water angle valve under the faucet.
- Disconnect the hot water line to the faucet with the hot water angle valve Connect the brass Tee to the 1/2” NPT inlet of the pump. Please make sure the rubber gasket is in the brass tee. Connect this faucet hot water line to this brass tee and then connect one 1/2 inch supply line (provided in the package) to this brass tee. After that, connect this 1/2-inch supply line to the hot water angle valve.
- Disconnect the cold water line to the faucet with the cold water angle valve. Connect the brass tee to the 1/2” NPT outlet of the pump. Please make sure the rubber gasket is in the brass Tee. Connect the faucet cold water pipe to this brass tee and then connect one 1/2 inch supply line (provided in the package) to this brass tee. After that, connect this 1/2-inch supply line to the cold water angle valve.
- Use pipe dope or Teflon tape to seal threads when connecting to a 1/2 female NPT connection. If a gasket flexible copper water heater connector is used pipe dope or Teflon tape is not required.
- Paste the punch-free sticker on the wall as shown in the picture. Or other fixed positions, and standing for 2 hours after pasting;(Wall or fixed position, ensure that ity is dry and clean before sticking)
- Hang the pump installation icon on the punch-free sticker. (The pump must be vertically installed or flat the pump on the floor with the screen up (floor drain nearby), Horizontally mounting on the wall is forbidden)
- Turn on the supply valve to the water heater and allow the water to flow until all the air in the pipeline has been purged.
- Turn off the faucet inside the house.
- Plug the line cord of the pump into a 115V outlet. Make sure the power cord does not touch the exhaust pipe of the gas or oil water heater.

Operation
Screen menu settings:
For the initial installation, select the
appropriate pipeline installation diagram and complete the installation, check
and confirm that the pipeline is installed correctly, all valves are turned
on, and work normally. Start the on-screen menu settings of the product.
Step 1: Temperature setting：Press the “Set” button, and the temperature symbol
flashes to enter the temperature setting function. Press the “up/down” button
to adjust the setting temperature. It is recommend to set the temperature 5 ℃
lower than the water heater outlet water temperature. Press the “SET” button
to save the settings and enter the next item. OR return to the main operation
window after 20 seconds of inactivity. Step 2: Set the constant temperature
mode: Press the “Set” button to move the indicator light to “Constant
temperature(CT)” mode, press the “up/down” button to adjust ON/OFF, and press
“Set” button to save the setting and enter the next item OR return to the
main operation window after 20 seconds of inactivity. Step 3:Set the time :
Press the “Set” button to move the indicator light to the time and then “hour”
flashes and press the “up/down” button to adjust the hour; Press the “Set”
button to move the indicator light to the minutes, “minutes” flashes, and
press the “up/down” button to adjust the minutes. Press the “Set” button to
save the setting and enter the next item OR return to the main operation
window after 20 seconds of inactivity. Step 4: Schedule setting: Press the
“Set” button to move the indicator light to schedule (SCH), press the
“up/down” button to adjust the operation period and press the “START” button
to adjust the operation status (ON/OFF) in this period. Press the “Set” button
to save the setting and enter the next item OR return to the main operation
window after 20 seconds of inactivity.
