OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Read all safety instructions and operating instructions before attempting to use this appliance/ shaver/trimmer/groomer.

BEFORE OPERATING YOUR APPLIANCE / PROFESSIONAL Body Groomer

•  The intended areas of use should be visually inspected in great detail before attempting to use this appliance.
• Always make sure the intended areas of use are completely clean and dry before attempting to use this appliance.
• If you have any medical problems, irritation, rashes, signs of blood or discomfort in your intended area of use – do not attempt to use this appliance.
• Use of a handheld or wall mirror will help you identify the most problematic areas of hair growth.
• Do not use this appliance to shave or trim any facial or scalp hair. This appliance was created for shaving below the neckline only.
• Heavy growth and problematic areas will need several attempts to efficiently remove all hair. Results will vary among different individuals.
• Do not move the appliance quickly or aggressively while in use.
• Never press hard or with force against the appliance into the intended area of use.
• At any time, if any irritation or discomfort arises – discontinue use immediately.
• Once you are completed with operating the appliance – turn the appliance off by pressing the ON/OFF button to the OFF position.

CHARGING YOUR APPLIANCE / PROFESSIONAL Body Groomer

• Make sure both the shaver, charging power cord, charging stand and your hands are dry before attempting to charge this appliance.
• Always charge this appliance in a cool, dry location.
• Never allow the charging power cord or stand to be near water or by any possible place it could be submerged in water.
• Never operate the appliance near a water source while charging power cord or charging stand is in contact with the appliance.
• Plug charging power cord into base of the stand and open stand to upright standing position. You are now ready for charging.
• Place you shaver in the charging stand with front of the shaver facing you, so you will see the charging indicator light. The charging indicator light will illuminate once correctly positioned in the stand and charging begins.
• Please charge shaver for 18-24 hours before initial use. Recharges will be completed quickly after initial charge. Estimated 2-3 hours for recharges.
• The charging light on your appliance will light in RED color when charging is taking place and not at full capacity.
• When charging is complete to full capacity, the charging light on your appliance will light in GREEN color. You are now ready for shaving.
• To preserve the life of the batteries, let them fully deplete every six months and then fully recharge them to full capacity.
• Do not charge for more than 24 hours to help maintain battery life.

• Only use this appliance for its intended household use as described in this manual.
• To trim or shave your body hair most effectively and efficiently, shave against the natural direction of hair growth.
• The direction of hair growth will vary for all individuals and on all different areas of the body. Therefore, changing angles and directions of shaving will help you learn and with practice, enable you to achieve optimum results.
• Never shut the appliance off while shaving or trimming and only turn the appliance off while being held away from body areas.
• For best results, shaving and trimming are recommended when both skin and hair are dry.
• Your skin may need several weeks to adjust to an electric shaver. Once your skin adjusts, you’ll get an extremely close and perfect shave.
• Before using this appliance, always inspect the unit, blades and foil to ensure no damage has occurred. If any damage has occurred, please do not use and replace the damaged component.

SHAVING WITH YOUR NEW APPLIANCE / PROFESSIONAL Body Groomer

• Only use this appliance for its intended household use as described in this manual.
• Shaving should always be done slowly and carefully, as you do not want to pull any hairs. The longer the hairs, the more apt it is to have pulls. Therefore, BEFORE USING BODY GROOMER SHAVER HEAD, ALWAYS TRIM LONGER HAIRS WITH TRIMMER ATTACHMENTS ONSHAVER FIRST TO CREATE SHORTER STUBBLE.
• Power on shaver by pressing power ON/OFF button.
• Move the shaver across your intended area while attempting to keep the entire surface area of shaver foil in contact with the skin.
• Your PROFESSIONAL Body Groomer has incorporated in the use of a PROPIVOT head for the complete range of motion and complete comfort in all shaving areas. This advanced technology will enable more direct contact with the blade and thus, a better shave.
• Always use a light touch when shaving. Pressing hard or with excessive force will only flatten your hair out and make it harder for longer hairs to enter the trimming blade in front of foil and be shaved.
• Your PROFESSIONAL is equipped with a 2 sided trimmer blade to enable you to obtain optimum results and shave in either direction you desire. In different areas of the body, it will be easier to push rather the pull for best results and vice versa.
• Once you completed shaving – turn the appliance off by pressing the ON/OFF button to the OFF position.

TRIMMING WITH YOUR NEW APPLIANCE / PROFESSIONAL Body Groomer

• Only use this appliance for its intended household use as described in this manual.
• Trimming should always be done slowly and carefully, as you do not want to pull any hairs. The longer the hairs, the more apt it is to have pulls.
• TRIMMING OF HAIR IS ALWAYS RECOMMENDED TO BE DONE DRY FOR OPTIMUM RESULTS. WATER WILL MATT DOWN HAIR, THEREFORE THE TRIMMER SHOULD NOT BE USED WHILE HAIR IS  WET.
• Choose one of the trimming combs – 3mm, 5mm or 7mm depending on your desired length.
• Please note your trimming combs can be attached to your shaver to trim hairs in the direction of your choice. Therefore, you can either push or pull to trim your hair.
• To attach the trimmer combs to the shaver, you must align the 4 prongs on the shaver head with the trimmer combs inner slots. This can easily be done by snapping the trimmer head on with minimal force and reversing to take the trimmer combs off the unit.
• To trim or shave your body hair most effectively and efficiently, shave against the natural direction of hair growth.
• Power on by pressing power ON/OFF button.

TIPS FOR BEST SHAVING RESULTS:

• This product is built for body grooming and not for use on the face or head. Do not use this shaver on your face or head.
• For best results, shaving is recommended when both skin and hair are dry.
• Trimming of hair is always recommended to be done dry for optimum results. Water will matt down hair, therefore the trimmer should not be used while hair is wet.

CLEANING, MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE

• Clean this appliance after every use.
• Be sure the appliance is turned off and unplugged from its charging power cord and base before attempting to clean.
• After each use, blow any remaining hair from the trimmer blades and outer foils.
• For cleaning of the foil shaving blade after heavy use or thick hair, please remove the foil shaving blade by: with the shaver facing you in both hands, gently pull upward on the foil unit, blow or brush out any remaining hairs and replace doing the reverse.
• For even more intensive cleaning, we recommend running your unit in the ON position under a running faucet and with a small amount of shampoo on the foil. Once you see the soap stop foaming, your shaver will be clean and air dry in a safe clean place.
• When not in use, always store the PROFESSIONAL Body Groomer in a safe, clean and dry environment.

RECHARGEABLE BATTERY REMOVAL

• When this appliance is deemed no longer useful, the batteries and circuit board must be removed from  the shaver and recycled or disposed of properly by your state and local requirements.
• Operate your appliance until no power remains and ensure your appliance is turned OFF.
• Remove the shaving foil completely from unit.
• Hold top portion of unit with pliers and pull upward while holding base of unit with other hand to separate the unit in 2 and expose inner circuit board and batteries.
• You will now be able to separate the inner frame and the components of the shaver from its outer shell with a screwdriver by gently prying each section apart from one another without excessive force.
• Once the inner frame and its components are removed, you will have both the batteries and circuit board available.
• Dispose of the circuit board and batteries by your state and local requirements.

CAUTION :

• DO NOT PUT IN FIRE OR MUTILATE YOUR BATTERIES WHEN DISPOSING AS THEY MAY BURST AND RELEASE TOXIC MATERIALS.
• DO NOT SHORT-CIRCUIT AS IT MAY CAUSE BURNS.
• DISPOSE OF PROPERLY BY YOUR STATE AND LOCAL REQUIREMENTS.
