Product Usage Instructions

Installation
To install the MIGHTY-RITE Split Grounding Bushings, follow these steps:

1. Choose the appropriate trade size based on your application.
2. If necessary, remove any existing bushings from the conduit.
3. Insert the MIGHTY-RITE Split Grounding Bushing into the conduit.
4. If installing before pulling wire, make sure the hinged design is in the closed position.
5. If installing after pulling wire, open the hinged design to easily insert the wire.
6. Secure the bushing in place using the provided locknut.

Grounding Connection
To make a grounding connection using the MIGHTY-RITE Split Grounding Bushings, follow these steps:

1. Ensure the grounding lug is adjusted to accept your wire size.
2. Insert the grounding wire into the grounding lug.
3. Tighten the grounding lug to securely hold the wire in place.
4. If necessary, attach a bonding jumper to the neutral busbar using the provided aluminum alloy lug.

Outdoor Use
If using the Zinc Die Cast version of the MIGHTY-RITE Split Grounding Bushings for outdoor applications, follow these additional steps:

1. Ensure the provided stainless steel hardware is used for installation.
