INSTALLATION
- Select a place with strong, level floor. If the floor is not quite level, adjust the height of screw accordingly.
- Allow at least a 10 cm. space on all sides and 30 cm. From above for a good ventilation.
- Avoid direct sunlight and heat. Direct sunlight may affect the enamel coating. Heat sources nearby will cause higher electricity consumption.
- Avoid very moist place. Too much moisture in the air will cause frost to from very quickly on the evaporator, and the refrigerator will have to be defrost very frequently.
- Don’t connect multiple appliances to one outlet. It may cause fire. To avoid the possibility of electrical shock, ground the refrigerator properly. The earth screw is located on the rear side of the refrigerator.
Suggestion
Relocation of refrigerator. TONE
- Disconnect the power cord.
- Remove water from the evaporating tray.
- Take food out of the refrigerator compartments.
- Fasten the doors with tape while moving to prevent them from opening
- For safety, use 2 people to carry the refrigerator.
- Do not lift the unit in a horizontal angle, however, it may be 45 degrees tilted slightly.
OPERATION
■ Making a test run
-
Clean the Refrigerator thoroughly. Wipe the external surface with a soft dry cloth, the interior with a damp cloth.

Keep the door open and plug the power cord into its own electrical outlet. The interior lamp should lit.

Turn the thermostat dial to “7”. Close the door and allow the unit to operate for 15-20 minutes. The evaporator should then show some traces of frost.
The compressor will run smoothly with just a soft humming sound. -
lf the test run is not satisfactory, check your power supply (blown fuse).
Contact your appliance dealer or appliance authorized Service Center if the source of trouble cannot be traced.
■ Temperature Control
The refrigerator is equipped with 2 independent controls to control the
degree of cooling of the refrigerator and freezer compartment.
• Freezer Compartment
MIN. : Minimum Setting for fairly cold in freezer compartment.
MED. : Medium Setting for colder in freezer compartment.
MAX. : Maximum Setting for the coldest in freezer compartment.
• Refrigerator Compartment
MIN. : Low volume of air circulation in refrigerator compartment.
MED. : Medium volume of air circulaton in refrigerator compartment.
MAX. : High volume of air circulation in refrigerator compartment.
■ Making Ice Cubes

Ice cubes are made in Twist Ice Maker, turn the lever clockwise to empty the ice into Ice Cube Box.

Store the ice cubes in the Ice Cube Box.
Do not store wet ice cubes or they will stick together. -
Do not use the “Ice Cube Box” as an ice making tray, or it will be damaged
■ Food Storage
- Refrigerated air goes down at the rear of the fresh food compartment and rises up at the front. Then, store the foodstuffs such as fish and meats which require quick refrigeration to the rear of the compartment.
- Leave spaces among foodstuffs to help air circulation. 10 cm. at the back and sides to allow air ventilation.
- Foodstuffs which are easily dried should be well wrapped with waxed paper, aluminum foil or plastic film.
- Wrap fish and smoked meats in moisture-vapour-proof material to prevent transfer for odours.
- pre-cool hot foods, wrap them with plastic film or put them in the airtight receptacle.
- Wipe the water on the surface of the bottles before storing them.
- Be sure not to store bottles such as beer, cokes, etc. in the freezer compartment.
- Do not put vegetables which are liable to freezer at the rear part ’ of the shelves.
- If planning to keep fresh fish and meats for a long period, wrap them a receptacle.
HOW TO DEFROST
■ How to Defrost
The defrosting will automatically operate. No manual control is required.
The defrosted water will drain into evaporation tray and automatically
evaporated by Tube Evaporator Condenser.
■ Cleaning the Evaporator Drain Tray
Since dust accumulated on the evaporator drain tray will decrease the
evaporation efficiency, remove the tray to clean. If the tray is not securely
in place, defrosted water may spill or the evaporation process may be
hindered.
Suggestion : The Evaporator Drain Tray should be cleaned at least once a
month
■ Slide Cap Moisture Control
- Slide Cap to the right hand ( “HUMID” appears) for appropriate moisture and temperature to maintain freshness of fruits and vegetable.
- Slide Cap to the left hand ( “COOL” appears) for rapidly cool fruits and vegetable.
■ Deodorizer
Inside the refrigerator compartment UV-LED + Platinum Deodorizer system is
installed, which is high efficiency eliminates the bacteria cause
decomposition in a food. This system operates (With a Blue-Beam indicator)
during the refrigerators door is opened and continues for 5 minutes after the
door is closed.
CLEANING
Your refrigerator does not require any special maintenance. To clean the
inside, use a soft cloth with water, mild soap suds, or some mild detergent.
Wash ice cube tray, evaporation tray and shelves in a mild detergent solution
and dry with a soft towel. Stains on the outside can also be removed with a
soft cloth and some mild detergent.
- Removable parts may be rinsed with water.
- Don’t forget to clean the door gasket especially the bottom gasket is liable to dirty.
- Wipe the door with a dry cloth when water splasher or it rusts.
- Occasionally remove dust and other particles which may collect at the back of the refrigerator and the condenser under the cabinet to keep heat radiating efficiency high. For safety, unplug the refrigerator before cleaning.
■ Lamp Replacement
lf the illuminating does not work properly. In case of the replacement bulb is
needed, it had better be replaced by its service agent or similarly qualified
person in order to avoid hazard.
Procedure .
- Disconnect the plug of the refrigerator from the outlet.
- Take the Lamp Cover off.
- Take the bulb off by turning it counter-clockwise.
- Change the bulb and turn it clockwise.
• The bulb E12, 10W characteristic at Freezer and Refrigerator Compartment
Caution : To prevent any breakage do not over tighten the lamp to socket.
It is highly recommended to have the service agent or qualified person to do
the lamp replacement.
CAUTION
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
- Do not use inflammable sprays such as lacquer and paint near the refrigerator, because there is a danger of igniting.
- Do not operate the refrigerator in the presence of explosive gas to avoid a fire or an explosion by ignition of the electric contact of the refrigerator.
- Be careful no to splash water on the back of the refrigerator the insulation of electric parts will be impaired by water.
- Do not touch the sides and back of the refrigerator cabinet and the mechanical parts at the back of the refrigerator, because their temperature is high.
- If the unit is turned off or unplugged, you must allow at least seven minutes before restarting or replugging the unit.
- Do not use acids, chemical thinner, gasoline or benzine for cleaning any part of the refrigerator. Boiling water and benzine are especially harmful for plastic parts.
- If the illuminating lamp does not work properly. The replacement of lamp is able to do by disconnect the power supply, detach the shield light cover then remove the lamp from the lamp socket, replace the lamp and reassembly the lamp.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
- Keep ventilation openings, in the appliance enclosure or in the built-in structure, clear of obstruction.
- Do not use mechanical devices or other means to accelerate the defrosting process.
- Do not use electrical appliances inside the food storage compartments of the appliance, unless they are of the type recommended by the manufacturer.
- Do not damage the refrigerant circuit.
- This fridge is Cyclopentane insulation, should be kept away from heat or flame when it isn’t properly used.
Be ensure this refrigerator is disposed off correctly, you will help prevent potential negative consequences of environment and human health, which could otherwise be caused by inappropriate waste handling of this product.
