Uncrating
Follow the instructions provided in the user manual to uncrate the product.
Remove all shipping material from unit before operation. Please inspect unit for any hidden freight damage and report any damage immediately to Krowne Metal Corp. If included, install optional casters or legs to bottom of unit. Please avoid turning unit on it’s side or rear to install accessories. If this can not be avoided, unit must be left in the upright position for 24 hrs before operating. All units come equipped with pre-determined mounting holes and self starting screws for easy install. (screws are provided only when casters or legs are ordered from factory). It is important to check that casters or legs are securely attached with appropriate mounting hardware.

- 8′-0 grounded cord (standard)
- Important: Do not plug the unit into a GFI outlet.

Installing Dividers
The dividers come pre-installed at the factory. Additional racks can be ordered and placed as per the customer’s request.

KMC is not responsible for any loss of product or sales during that time. Additional costs for after-hour services or excessive travel time (more than an hour) will be incurred by the end user. OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE
OPERATING TEMPERATURE
The operating temperature of the Slide Top Bottle Cooler is pre-set at the
factory for an average of 36°. The average operating range is from 32° to 40°.
The thermostat is located on the front of the evaporator housing inside of the
unit and may be adjusted using a flat-head screwdriver. IMPORTANT: Any
adjustments to temperature should be made in small increments to prevent
damage to the unit. Turning the temperature too cold will result in the coil
freezing and the compressor will be forced to run continuously, ultimately
resulting in higher box temperature and the compressor burning out. If the
coil freezes, unplug the cooler open the doors and let the unit defrost for 24
hours before plugging in again. It is important to turn the screw back to the
factory setting to prevent the coil from freezing again. (see below)
FACTORY SETTINGS
- 24”, 36” & 48” coolers set to #4
- 72” coolers set to #5 (normal)
- 96” coolers set to #5 (normal)
CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
Make sure to avoid all products that may corrode the stainless steel such as
steel wool and chlorine-based bleaches. The cooler should be cleaned with a
mild detergent, warm water, and a soft cloth. All cleaning materials should be
washed away and the cooler completely dried.
The condenser must be cleaned every 60 days or may void the warranty. Remove
the front grill for access to the condenser. If the condenser is not cleaned
regularly loss of efficiency and ultimately condenser failure may occur.
Doors, door gaskets, and exterior should be cleaned daily to prevent the
buildup of liquids and other matter that may interfere with operation.
Interior of the unit should be cleaned regularly. To clean these surfaces use
a mild detergent, warm water, and a soft cloth. Dry completely!
