Installation And How to Use

Installation

Pairing

Simply press and hold the activation button 3 on the screen sense clip for 2 seconds. (To check if successful: briefly press the page-turning button 1, and both the remote and screen sense clip’s indicator light will flash, indicating a successful pairing.)

How to Use

Using Kindle Paperwhite 4 as an example:

• Place the screen sense clip onto the screen. We recommend clipping it onto the red area as shown in figure 6. However, the precise location may vary on different devices; just ensure that the sensor point of 5 the screen sense clip is correctly positioned.
• Next, you can simply use the device by pressing the Page-turning button 1 on the remote.
• If the remote is not used within 10 minutes, the screen sense clip will automatically enter into smart power-saving mode. If you wish to use it again, press and hold the activation button 3 for 2 seconds.
• If the indicator lights on both the screen sense clip and the remote control are green, but the remote cannot control the screen sense clip, it needs to be reactivated. Follow these steps: Press and hold the page-turning button on the remote for 3 seconds. When the remote indicator light 2 on the remote stays on continuously, then press and hold the activation button 3 the screen sense clip. At this point, if the remote indicator light 2 on the remote blinks 3 times, it means the activation is successful, and you can use it normally.

Charging Instructions

• To charge, place both the remote and the screen sense clip on the charging dock and connect it using a TYPE-C charging cable
• The input voltage is DC5V, and it takes 2 hours to fully charge

• The built-in hidden stand, eliminates the need for purchasing an additional stand, saving you money.
• Simply pull out the stand, and you can place your device, freeing up your hands.

Important Notes

• The sensor point must be kept clean, and try to minimize dust.
• The sensor point must be close to the screen.
• The sensor point must be clamped within the effective area of the screen, otherwise, page-turning will not work. (Think of the sensor point as equivalent to a human finger.)
• If used for 3 hours daily, with a full charge, the screen sense clip can be used for 15 days, and the remote can be used for 2 months. Under normal usage, the indicator lights on the remote or the screen sense clip are green. However, when they turn red, it indicates low battery and you should recharge them promptly.

Troubleshooting

• Screen sense clip does not work.
  • Solution: When operating the remote, check 1f the green light on the screen sense clip is lit. If it is, try adjusting the position of the screen sense clip to see if it can be used.
• If both the remote and the screen sense clip are in normal status (with green indicator lights) but cannot turn pages.
  • Solution: Press and hold the page-turning button on the remote for 3 seconds. When the remote indicator light 2 on the remote stays on continuously, then press and hold the activation button 3 on the screen sense clip. At this point, if the remote indicator light 2 on the remote blinks 3 times, it means the activation is successful, and you can use it normally.
