Pro 1 BTE Rechargeable Hearing Aids
Hello,
meet your new Pro 1! Let’s choose your Eartips
Open Eartips are designed for mild hearing loss. They allow natural sound to
enter your ear canal alongside amplified sound produced by your Pro 1.
Closed Eartips are designed for severe hearing loss.
They create a seal in your ear canal ensuring all sound is produced by your
Pro 1.
Hold the sound tube with one hand. Align the sound tube with the eartip, and
push the eartip over the ridges at the end of the sound tube until it’s
secure.Replace sound tube and tips every 3
months for optimal performance.
… and your tubing, too
Standard Tubing is suitable for most ear shapes, and comes pre-installed, but
we’ve also included Extended Tubing if you find your hearing aids are a little
too snug! Uninstall tubing by pinching the hearing aid body with one hand,
ensuring the hearing aid does not move. Hold the base of the sound tube
tightly and turn counter-clockwise to unscrew. Install by placing the sound
tube tread in the hearing aid body and turning clockwise. When replacing the
sound tube, it’s VERY important to hold the base of the sound tube and not the
tube itself. Holding the tube may cause it to break.
Last thing before you put them in!
All hearing aids are capable of feedback (a loud, uncomfortable whistling
sound). Feedback is caused when sound that’s already passed through the sound
tube is re-amplified again.
The number one way to prevent feedback is to ensure the volume on each hearing
aid is turned all the way down before you put them in or take them out.
If feedback persists, check that the sound tube is tightly screwed to the
hearing aid body. Poor connection may cause feedback. If there’s feedback when
the volume is increased to your desired level, you may need to use closed
eartips.
Left, Right, On, Off
A Blue Marking at the end of your sound tube indicates your left hearing aid;
a Red Marking indicates your right hearing aid.
Just remember “Red is Right!”
When the Pro 1 hearing aids leave the charging case, they will automatically
turn on and start working. When the Pro 1 is correctly placed in the case,
they will automatically turn off.
Putting in your Pro 1
Hold the sound tube with your fingers, and gently insert the eartip into the
ear canal.
Place the hearing aid body behind the ear. The curve of the sound tube should
fit comfortably above your ear.
Tuck stabilizer bar in the bowl of your ear. If needed, it can be trimmed with
scissors to fit the inside of your ear. Trim a small amount and test, then trim
more and test again. Do not trim too much at once. … and taking them out
Gently pull the stabilizer bar from the ear and pull back to remove the
eartip. Bring the eartip and stablizer bar up over your ear and the device
will be free.
Controlling your Volume
Your Pro 1 has a rocker switch for controlling volume.
To raise volume, press the up button.
Three rapid beeps indicates maximum volume has been reached. To reduce volume,
press the down button.
Three rapid beeps indicates minimum volume has been reached. Choosing your
Noise
Cancellation Mode
To change modes press the lower volume button (feel for the bump) and hold for
2-3 seconds.
The Pro 1 has a memory function and will maintain the volume and mode chosen
before it was turned off. We recommend experimenting to find what works best
for you!

Charging your Pro 1
Your Pro 1 has a low battery warning function. When the battery level is too
low, you will hear a soft beep, indicating that the hearing aid needs to be
charged.
The low battery warning will repeat every 5-10 minutes until the hearing aid
is turned off.
Connect the provided charging cable to the charging case, and plug the other
end into a USB charging port. During the charging process, the indicator light
flashes green.
After it’s fully charged, the green light will stay on.
Your Pro 1 will automatically start charging once they are put into the case.
During charging, the light will turn white. When fully charged, the white
light will turn off.

Cleaning & Care
Once a Day:
Use the cleaning brush on the eartips, microphone, and volume button to avoid
earwax and debris from accumulating. Once a Week:
Use the sound tube wire tool to clean foreign objects in the sound tube.
Remove the sound tube. Pass the wire tool through the sound tube and wipe the
end of the wire clean. DO NOT use liquid cleaners to
clean your Pro 1.
Tips & Troubleshooting
- Avoid physical shocks, such as falling to the floor.
- Store in a cool and dry place.
- Do not let your Pro 1 get wet.
- Do not use hairspray or hair dryer when wearing hearing aids.
- Do not expose hearing aids to excessive humidity or heat.
- Consider using a hearing aid dehumidifier overnight if you live in a humid place.
- Make sure your Pro 1 hearing aids are fully charged for best reception.
- Make sure the sound tube is tightly screwed to the tube base for best reception.
- If the white charging lights are off when placed in charging case, wiggle the Pro 1 around a little until the indicator lights up. If the lights are still off, try cleaning the charging ports with your brush tool to remove oil or dust.
- If there is feedback when using the phone, try moving the phone to different positions until you find the ideal listening position, or use the hands-free (speaker phone) function on the phone for best results.
- If you feel your Pro 1 is no longer working, remove the sound tube from the hearing aid body and adjust the volume to the maximum level. If feedback occurs your hearing aid is still working, and debris may be blocking the sound tube.
