IF YOU SMELL GAS

  • Do not attempt to light appliance.
  • Extinguish any open flame.
  • If odor continues, keep away from the appliance and immediately call your Fire Department.

CARBON MONOXIDE HAZARD

  • This appliance can produce carbon monoxide which has no odor.
  • Using it in an enclosed space can kill you.
  • Never use this appliance in an enclosed space such as a camper, tent, car or home.

This manual contains important information for the proper assembly and safe use of the appliance.
Read and follow all warnings and instructions before assembling and using the appliance.

INSTALLATION

  1. Connect hose to burner
  2. Connect hose to propane tank
  • Make sure propane tank and regulator are closed before assembly.
  • Check leaking with soap water. Turn on propane tank valve to see if bubbles appear. If yes, shut off the gas and re-tighten all connections.

OPERATION

  1. Light the burner

    • Put propane tank away from the burner to ensure it is not subjected to radiant heat.
    • Using a long-handled match or lighter, light the burner while slowly open the regulator on the stove.
    • If the burner does not ignite, close the regulator and allow residual gas to disperse before making a second attempt.

  2. Adjust heat output

    • To increase heat output, turn the regulator counter-clockwise. On the contrary, clockwise rotation will decrease heat output.
    • Flame should be compact and blue with a slight yellow tip. If flame is yellow adjust the air mixture valve to let more oxygen in.

  3. Turn off appliance

    • With the flame still operating, turn off the valve on the propane tank first. Allow the flame to burn down until all remaining gas in the hose has been used.
    • Turn off regulator and switch on burner.
    • After use, let burner cool for 15 minutes before moving or storing.

CLEANING

  1. Allow burners and steel grate to cool completely.
  2. Turn valve on propane tank to the OFF position.
  3. Remove propane hose from tank and stove.
  4. Stove may be wiped down with soap and warm water.
  5. Allow stove to dry thoroughly before storage.
  6. Never store stove with propane hose attached.
  7. No other maintenance is necessary.

STORAGE

  • DO NOT leave propane tank attached to stove during storage or transport.
  • Wipe the burners, steel cooking grate, and propane hose before storing.
  • It is suggested to store stove and hose in a nylon storage bag to keep it clean.

WARNING

  1. This burner is for outdoor use only. Do not use in a building, garage, tent or any other enclosed area. Do not use in or on a recreational vehicle or boat.
  2. Always operate the burner on a level, stable, noncombustible surface such as brick or concrete. Surfaces not suitable for use include wood, asphalt or plastic which may burn, blister or melt.
  3. DO NOT attempt to connect your camp stove to a natural gas supply. Use only with propane, hose and regulator supplied with the stove and an approved bulk propane tank.
  4. Weight limit is 220 lbs.
  5. Keep stove away from burnable materials. Do not place the stove closer than 24 inch to combustibles.
  6. Do not leave this burner unattended while it is lit or heating.
  7. Keep children, pets and unauthorized persons away from the burner at all times.
  8. When burner use is complete, always turn the propane tank valve off first, then turn the regulator off.
  9. Propane fuel is highly flammable and under pressure. Do not store in temperatures over 120˚F.
  10. Never use a propane tank if it shows signs of dents, bulges, rust, or any other forms of visible external damage. The cylinder may be hazardous and should be checked by a qualified liquid propane supplier.
  11. Periodically check for leaks using the soapy water method. If any signs of weakness are detected on the hose or regulator, replace immediately.

This product is a sealed unit and is not designed for repair by the customer. Do not attempt to service the stove or hose and regulator assembly in the field.
