Brief Description

EMF tester is widely used in measuring electromagnetic field strength for home appliances, such as TV, fan, electromagnetic oven.
This manual include relative safety and warning tips in product use. Please read the manual carefully and follow accordingly.
Please note the measurement range before test.
Please read carefully the “Safety Operation Rules” before use the product.
Please make the measurement within the stated frequency range of the product.

Safety Operation Rules

1. Please check the tester and accessories before use. If any damages non-display are found please do not use it again.
2. Please follow the manual in test.
3. Please do not open the test and change internal circuits.
4. When low batteries icon is displayed please change batteries on time.(Please take out the batteries if it is not to be used for long time.
5. Do not use or store the product in high temperature. high humidity high flammable.and high electromagnetic environments.
6. Same external influence or misuse might cause inaccuracy or dis-function.

Illustrate:
If the EMF meter’s top light indicator is lighted and the screen has a digital display, which means that the product is in the power-on state; if not,please check whether the battery of the product is in the state of battery life (replace a new battery, if necessary)
A: The magnetic field units are mG and uT.
B: The conversion unit is 10mG=1uT. The safety number of the electric field is 40V/M, if it exceeds this number, the light will turn yellow; when it reaches 400V/M, the light will turn red.
C: The unit of electric field is V/M (Newton/coulomb). The safety number of the magnetic field is 0.4uT, if it exceeds this number, the light will turn yellow; when it reaches 4.0uT, the light will turn red.
D: The default is to measure the magnetic field unit mG with sound when you turn it on. Description of the LCD display area

Button function:

1. If you want to turn on /off, you need to press and hold for two seconds to turn on/off .If you don’t need the prompt sound, you can short press turn it off.
2. If you want to switch the measurement between electric field and magnetic field, short press SEL to switch, as shown in the upper right corner of the screen, select electric field and magnetic field unit switching.
3. In some special scenes, when the value cannot be monitored in real time or the value jumps too fast to see clearly, you can short press this button after approaching the measurement object to lock the value and get the measurement  result without worrying about jumping.When you can’t see the measurement object clearly in a dark environment, you can press and hold it for two seconds to make the LED light on the back light up to illuminate the object
4. If you want to know the maximum radiation emitted by an object, you can short-press this button to display the value as the peak value. You can long press when the value displayed on the screen cannot be seen clearly in a dark environment.

Measurement Steps

1. Press and hold this button for two seconds to power on.
2. The SEL button switches to select the electric field and magnetic field measurement. The measurement unit in the upper right corner of the screen is mG and uT for the magnetic field, and V/M for the electric field.

Notes :
2.1. There is only electric radiation around some products, only magnetic radiation around some products, and both exist around some productsThe following is the laboratory test data for reference only, the actual test shall prevail.
2.2. If you choose electric field measurement, there is no obvious number on the display of this meter, please press the SEL button again to select the magnetic field mode for measurement.
2.3. If there is no obvious change in the number/sound/indicator color (and the indicator light on the top of the fuselage is on), please adjust the test distance (close to the product test) for observation, and the data will be obtained.
2.4. If there is no obvious number/sound/indicator color change (and the indicator light on the top of the fuselage is on), and the distance is normal, it means that there is no radiation around the product.
