INSTRUCTIONS

To set up a wireless connection 1.

  • After the receiver has been plugged into your computer.
    • Step 1: Press the connection button on the Receiver, the light will begin to flash
    • Step 2: Press the connection button on the base of the mouse, your RF connection is now set.
  • You may need to reset your connection from time to time, follow steps 1 & 2.

Connecting your ValuOptical Wireless

  • Your ValuOptical Wireless has a USB connector, which can work with both PCs and Macintosh® computers, and a PS/2 adapter for PCs.
Connecting to a PC

USB port: Plug the cord into your computer’s USB port or a USB port on a hub connected to your computer. You do not need to turn off your computer before connecting or disconnecting a USB device.

PS/2 mouse port:

  1. Turn off your computer.
  2. Plug the cable into the adapter,  then plug the adapter into the computer’s PS/2 port.
  3. Reboot your computer.
Connecting to a Macintosh computer
  • USB port: Plug the cord into your computer’s USB port. You may also use the spare USB port on your keyboard, or a USB port on a hub connected to your computer. You do not need to turn off your computer before connecting or disconnecting a USB device.

Power Save/Power Off

  • The mouse will automatically switch to power save mode if it is left idle for more than eight minutes.
  • To wake up the mouse, simply click one of the top buttons.
  • For extended periods without use, the mouse can be powered off by pressing and holding the connect button located on the underside for three seconds.
  • The LED on the underside of the mouse will not illuminate when powered off.
  • To power on, press the connect button for three seconds.
