Use

  1. Unfolding the Wheelchair
    Use
    Hold the handles with both hands to separate the frame slightly. Push down both sides of the seat upholstery to flatness lightly by hand, so that the wheelchair has been unfolded. (Figure 1)

  2. Folding
    Use
    First turn over both the footplates, lift up both sides of the seat upholstery lightly with hands, and then it can be folded. (Figure 2)

  3. Use of brake
    Use
    The user holds the brake handles with both hands when the wheelchair stops, and then moves the brake handles forward to self locking position, to make the rear wheels stop completely. (Figure 3)

  4. Use of armrest
    Use
    When detaching the armrest, first press the armrest fastener with one hand to separate it from the front bracket of seat tube, then you can flip it back. When assembling the armrest, make the armrest fastener aims at the position of the front bracket of the seat tube and press lightly on the self-locking fastener. (Figure 4)

  5. Use of leg rest

To mount the footrest there are positioning holes to fit with the sides of the footplate. Fit the footrests and rotate inwards until it locks in place. To remove the footrests, squeeze the handle, rotate the footrest outward and lift them up. (Figure 5)

Caution

General precautions
  • a. This wheelchair has been designed for Indoor use of vehicles of any kind. Always transfer to the user of the Chair in an approved seat by the vehicle manufacturer and use all available Safety restraints.

  • b. Do not use this wheelchair in Roads, streets or any Surface traffic.

  • c. Don’t try to operate in inclined planes of 10% or more, without adequate support.

  • d. Make sure to fully activate the wheel brakes when getting on or off the Chair, or when you’re in an elevator or lift for wheelchair.
    The wheelchair must be on a flat surface, stable and level.

  • e. When you get on or off the wheelchair, do not climb or put weight on the footrest. When trying to extend the arms on the back, do so only until the arm can be extended without changing your sitting position.

  • f. Do not stand in the wheelchair.

Stability

Wheelchairs are designed to be safe and stable while the center of gravity is maintained during normal use. You must take precautions if you want to perform activities that require a change of the center of gravity. The user should never try to bow out of the chair. If you need to lean on the chair, take care that the front wheels are pointing forward, so to extend the base surface of the wheel for stability.

Ramps

Make sure your own capacity constraints and force before attempting to use a Ramp. You can ask a professional to go up or down a Ramp. It’s advised to have help when going up or down slopes over 10 degrees. If you must stop on a slope avoid sudden movements. A move can cause instability due to the angle of the chair. The use of The Brakes could result in an uncontrolled movement or a sudden stoppage. Try not to change direction when travelling down a ramp as it could cause instability and lead to the overturning of the chair.

Maintenance of the Chair

Always make sure that the chair is dry after use to prevent corrosion. The chair should be cleaned frequently using warm water and a mild detergent. Dry after cleaning. Do not use Abrasive cleaner that can scratch the finish.

The wheelchair must be folded for Storage. The chair can be folded to approximately half its width.

Security

Manual wheelchair has a legal guarantee of one years from the invoice against manufacturer defects. The warranty does not cover the wear of wheels, seats, backrests, brakes & also problems caused by improper use or maintenance. The transport costs for repair shall be borne by the customer.
