Product Information
Fixing to dot & dab walls (plasterboard over blockwork) has long been problematic. Corefix provides the reliable solution.

- Suitable for Dot & Dab plasterboard over all types of brick, solid stone and blockwork, including aerated/lightweight blocks.
- Heavy duty steel-reinforced fixing, tested to 250kg (4 fixings).
- 100kg safe working load in concrete blocks (4 fixings).
- 73kg safe working load in aerated/lightweight blocks (4 fixings).
- Steel core transfers load to the solid wall behind plasterboard and prevents crushing of plasterboard.
- Perfect for hanging heavy items including shelves, cabinets, boilers, radiators, AV equipment and wall mounted TVs.
How Corefix works
Installation
- Drill hole to required 100mm minimum depth using 10mm masonry drill bit.
- Turn off hammer action when drilling into aerated / lightweight blocks.
- Carefully blow dust and debris out of hole.
- Gently tap plug into hole.
- Gently tap core into plug.
- Screw fixture to wall with the supplied screw.
Warning:
- Always check for cables and pipes before drilling and use suitable protective equipment. Independently tested on plasterboard with blockwork behind.
- Always refer to the manufacturer’s instructions before fixing any object with Corefix and use the recommended number of fixings. Corefix is a Patented design
