CHARGING THE DIFFUSER

Please charge the diffuser before its first use.

Use the USB-C cord along with a USB-A wall adapter (not provided, but you probably have one around your home or office).

The indicator light will be yellow when the diffuser is charging, then transition to green when fully charged. It takes ~3hrs to fully charge.

REMOVING & INSTALLING BOTTLE

STEP 1
Unscrew the empty bottle from the diffuser.

STEP 2
Fill the empty bottle with essential oils (do not add water). You can also use any 10ml or 15ml bottle you have at home.

STEP 3
Screw the bottle back into the diffuser so that it’s snug. Do not overtighten.

*While not recommended, the metal stand can also be twisted off if you need more hand space to remove/install the bottle.

TURNING THE DIFFUSER ON & OFF

TO TURN ON, press and hold the ON/OFF button for 3s. This will initiate the 30 second start-up process. The Strength and Power Indicator Lights will flash and you’ll noticeably hear the device draw oil into the atomizing chamber. Once complete, the device will be on.

TO TURN OFF, press and hold the ON/OFF button for 3s. This will initiate the 30 second shut-off process. The Strength and Power Indicator Lights will flash and you’ll hear the device return oil back to the bottle. Once complete, the device will be off

MOOD LIGHT OPERATION
When the diffuser is on, you can turn the mood light on and off by short- pressing the ON/OFF button.

ADJUSTING THE STRENGTH & DURATION

LOW BATTERY INDICATOR LIGHT

Red light will flash slowly when battery is low. It will flash quickly when critically low.

CLEANING THE DIFFUSER

To clean the exterior of the device, simply wipe with a damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals. To clean the interior, fill essential oil bottle with rubbing alcohol and run the device for 1 hour on HIGH STRENGTH in a well-ventilated area. We suggest cleaning once per month.

CAUTIONS

1. Keep the diffuser upright. Do not tilt or invert.

2. Do not operate the diffuser:
   a. if it is damaged, broker, or making irregular noises.
   b. if the cord is damaged or broken.
   C. within 10cm of walls, furniture and clothes. d. on an uneven surface.

3. Keep out of reach of children and pets.

4. Do not disassemble the diffuser.

5. We suggest using only Velnue essential oils as other “essential oils” often contain synthetics, fillers, and other foreign ingredients that may damage the diffuser. Avoid thick essential oils.

6. Do not inhale from directly over the diffuser, as the scent produced is very strong in close proximity.

7. Do not leave the diffuser plugged in when it is fully charged.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What are the benefits of a waterless diffuser?

To start, convenience. You don't need to constantly refill the diffuser with water. More importantly, compared to water-based ultrasonic diffusers, waterless diffusers atomize the oil's individual compounds more evenly, resulting in a purer and more consistent aroma over time.

Will I use more or less oil with waterless diffusing?

To achieve the same strength of aroma in your space whether using an ultrasonic diffuser or a waterless diffuser you will use the same amount of essential oils. The main difference is waterless diffusing will diffuse the individual compounds more consistently.

It's quite loud at the start. Is that normal?

Yes, this is completely normal. What you're hearing is the start-up phase as the device draws up the initial essential oil into the atomizing chamber. This process takes 30 seconds, then the diffuser will be much quieter thereafter.

Can I use another brand's essential oils?

You may, but please use caution when using other brands as many of them dilute their oils with synthetics that can damage the diffuser.

Does the diffuser work while plugged in?

Yes, it does, but with 2 side effects: the battery will recharge much slower and the battery will degrade quicker.

TROUBLESHOOTING

The diffuser won’t turn on.
Make sure you long-press the ON button for at least 3s. If that doesn’t work, the battery might be dead. Charge for 3 hours, then try again.

The scent is very weak or non-existent.
First, make sure the bottle isn’t empty. If that is not the issue, please note that some essential oils have a weaker smell, so you may need to increase the STRENGTH mode. If there is still no scent, try cleaning the interior of the diffuser according to the instructions in this manual.

The bottle won’t unscrew.
Similar to a stubborn jar, the solution may be asking somebody with a stronger grip to give it a try. If you’re really desperate, you can twist off the metal stand from the diffuser to gain more leverage. Remember not to overtighten the bottle.

There’s no visible mist. Nor should there be.
The stream of microscopic atomized essential oil particles are practically invisible to the naked eye. With the right lighting, you can see the stream. Also, the diffuser only diffuses 5 seconds at a time, then rests. You’ll only be able to see the barely- detectable stream during that 5 second period.

LIMITED 1 YEAR WARRANTY

If your diffuser stops working within one year of purchase, you’ll be able to send it back to Velnue for repair, replacement or a velnue.com gift card of equal value.

Rules and Limitations:

1. The diffuser must have been purchased within the last 12 months and before Dec 31, 2024. Proof of purchase must be provided.
2. Postage for sending the product back to Velnue must be paid by the customer. Postage for sending a replacement product back to the customer will be paid for by Velnue. Some limitations may apply.
3. The customer must have cleaned the diffuser according to the instructions in this manual.
4. There must not be any oil damage within the unit, as this can occur when the unit is tipped over, or with incorrect use.
5. The customer must have only used Velnue essential oils with the diffuser.
6. There must not be any extensive physical damage to the diffuser.
7. Any decision on a warranty claim is at the sole discretion of Velnue Design Corp.
