Q/A
Question : Having worked for months, the camera does not turn in any
direction. Nor is waken up by PIR. However, users can remotely check or
control it via phone.
Cause : The battery is low.
Solution : Charge the camera, using a Type-C cable and DC-5V power, for
about 2 seconds, which reactivates battery protection. The camera will turn
again. Now you need to charge the battery full and install it on the wall.
- Before using the camera, please charge the battery full. The battery lifespan is affected by the wake-up times of the camera. Therefore, PIR detection should be used in crowds. It is suggested that the camera should be turned off or set as low sensitivity in order to reduce the wakeup times and extend the battery lifespan. Promptly charge the battery when the battery is low.
- The camera is designed to be exquisite and have low power consumption. Every time the camera is woken up and works for a few seconds, then, it will be on standby to save the battery. You can set the length of working time in settings.
- Keep the camera within the router’s signal distance. Make sure the camera is placed near the Wi-Fi router. If there is something thick or insulating between the device and the WiFi router, it may lead to low wifi signal. Please make sure that the Wi-Fi V signal is good before using the camera .
NOTE : the red/blue warning lights lead to the synchronization with sound alarms. (When the call is on, the red and blue warning lights are also on)
Q: How bright are the lights
A: First I will say that, flood lights and infrared have different color views
at night the camera, “flood lights make us see color view and infrared mode
black and white view”, and our high quality “3.6mm camera lens” can make us
see clearly in every mode in the night. and now we know that flood lights are
not Spotlight, they just help us to see color view at night, The light does
not directly penetrate, and they are mainly gentle, just acting as a fill
light and not for lighting.
Q: How can I set the camera to send notifications to my phone?
A: That’s a great purpose for the camera to alert you to human movement. when
you log in to the app first time, It will apply you the authority to agree the
“”pushing notifications”” to you, if you forget to set , you can still have a
try in the app “me”-” notification settings ” -” autorun”-“manage
notifications “-“Allow notification “you can still have a look the video we
had done. also Reading the instruction manual you can find the answers more
quickly any questions, you can contact us , we are here
Q: How can i delete the video files from the card?
****A: First, I would say that our solar security camera’s purpose is to
record human motion” Completely and objectively”, But it doesn’t agree to
delete anyone of the videos Manually one by one Second, the video recording
work goes on looping,The solar security camera automatically overwrites old
videos. detects the storage space. when the memory is full. the earliest video
is automatically deleted and the new video is saved The time set is
working, also not to reset the camera.
Last, you can check the video on your app easily,If you want to save any video
you can download the video to your phone
Q: Can more than one person access this camera?
A: Yes, you have to use the “Device Sharing” function on your “Ubox” app, and
share it to another person (account)
Q: Won’t connect to 5G network?
A: This item only works on 2.4GHz WiFi. Longer transmission distance than 5G.
Q: Not have auto-tracking?
A: This camera’s work mode is pir motion detection, when the body goes into
its field of view ( 85 degrees), the camera will wake up and send a
notification to your Phone. The camera doesn’t automatically track.
Q: Can the camera capture the license plate in the night clearly?
A: No, usually the camera that takes photos of the license plate is dedicated,
because cars at night usually have lights, and when the camera sees the car’s
lights, the screen will appear white, That is to say, ordinary cameras do not
have the function of suppressing strong light. If your car’s taillights are
too bright, the camera’s infrared light will automatically turn off, and the
license plate will also reflect light, This has a significant impact on the
camera capturing video files, Moreover, the characters on the license plate
are very small, and they are almost indistinct at around 10 meters In
addition, its exposure compensation and other aspects cannot meet the
requirements of the camera for the license plate
