Battery Loading
(Four AAA batteries included) Battery compartment is located on bottom of Scale. Push tab in and lift battery door to remove. Ensure + / – ends of batteries line up with + / – symbols in battery compartment. Replace battery door. -
Power Button
Press power button to turn on and off. Display will count down 3-2-1 and will show 0 lb or 0 kg when ready for use. -
Zero Button
Press zero button to zero-out Scale before adding additional ingredients. -
Weight Converter Button
To switch between US (lb and oz) and metric (kg and g) units at any time during weighing, press the lb/kg button. -
Backlight Option

To protect Scale, remove excess weight immediately. -

Standby Mode
After 6 minutes of inactivity display will switch to standby mode and the memory will be retained. Touch any button after 6 minutes to return Scale to active mode again. -
Auto Shut Off
After 30 minutes of inactivity Scale will shut off and the memory will be lost. To turn the power on again, press the power button . -
Manual Shut Off
To turn Scale off manually, press the power button until display is blank. -
Pull-Out Display
Display unit can be pulled away from base unit for better visibility when a large container is placed on the platform. Simply pull on the front tab and position display unit in front of base unit. To retract, reposition display unit in base and magnets will secure it in place.

To weigh ingredients in a container, press the zero button to offset the weight of the container, so that only the weight of the ingredients to be added is displayed. The zero button can also be used to weigh multiple ingredients consecutively without removing items from the Scale. Pressing zero will zero-out the Scale before adding anew ingredient.
- Add container to Scale, then press zero button to setweight to zero.
- Add ingredients and weight will appear on display.

After container is removed from Scale, a negative number will appear on the display.
