Operating Instructions
Follow these steps to operate the washer:
- Sort and load your laundry into the washer, then close the lid.
- Touch the Power button to turn on the washer.
- Select the desired cycle for your load.
- Select any additional options if needed.
- Touch and hold the Start/Pause button to begin the cycle.
- If desired, adjust the cycle settings.
Note: Some cycles, settings, or options may not be available on all models. If the washer detects an out-of-balance condition, it may pause to resolve the issue. During this time, the Sense and Rinse/Spin status indicators will briefly illuminate.

Fire Hazard
- No washer can completely remove oil.
- Do not dry anything that has ever had any type of oil on it (including cooking oils).
- Items containing foam, rubber, or plastic must be dried on a clothesline or by using an Air Cycle.
- Failure to follow these instructions can result in death or fire.
WARNING: Do not wash water-resistant or water-repellent type clothing. Failure to closely follow these instructions may result in an abnormal vibrating and out-of-balance condition that could result in physical injury, property damage and/or appliance damage.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
- Add HE Detergent into the basket & Laundry Products into the Dispenser. Maytag suggests using the Downy Ball® dispenser.
- Sort & Load Laundry then close the lid.
- Touch Power to Turn On the Washer.
- Select the Desired Cycle for your Load.
- Adjust the Cycle Setting, if desired.
- Select Additional Options.
- Touch and Hold Start/ Pause to Begin the Cycle.
- NOTE: Not all cycles, settings or options are available with all models. If the washer detects an out-of-balance condition it may pause and attempt and resolve the issue. During this time the Sense and Rinse / Spin status indicators will both briefly illuminate.

NOTE: Normal cycle with Warm water is recommended for kinds of cotton, linens and mixed garment loads.
