TRAVEL PRECAUTIONS:
For air travel, the diving tank must not be pressurized. It is necessary to unscrew the cylinder tank from the head regulator by turning the two elements counterclockwise. Ensure that the Original O-ring provided is used for reassembly.
Responsibility for reassembling the equipment lies with the user in accordance with regulations.

PRODUCT GUIDELINES AND PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES

  • Vital Function Awareness:
    Due to its critical breathing function, exercise utmost care in the usage of the Trident Tank.

  • Pressure Relief Protocol:
    When the Trident Tank is not in use, purge the air from the head regulator to alleviate pressure.

  • Membrane Stress Warning:
    Excessive stress on the membrane can result in uncontrolled air expulsion. To mitigate this, promptly block the mouthpiece if necessary.

  • Deteriation Prevention:
    Avoid any contact between the Trident Tank, pump equipment, and sand or other abbrassive debris.

  • Sun and UV Exposure Precaution:
    Prolonged exposure to sunlight and UV light should be avoided to prevent potential damage to the Trident Tank.

  • Leak or Malfunction Response:
    In the event of leaks or suspected malfunction, maintain a safe distance from the equipment, close the valve, and consult the provided safety instructions.

  • Operational Check Prior to Diving:
    Before each use of the Trident Tank, conduct a comprehensive check to ensure the device’s operational prior to engaging in any diving activities.

PRE-USE INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Health Condition Requirement:
    To guarantee the safe utilization of the equipment, it is imperative for the user to be in good health. If necessary, consult a health specialist for a thorough health check and assessment prior to use.

  2. Visual Inspection Requirement:
    Prior to engaging in any diving activities or equipment filling procedures, visually inspect the equipment to ensure the proper and secure attachment of the head regulator.

  3. Operaton Check:
    Before entering the water, perform 2-3 inhale/exhale cycles as a test to verify the proper functioning of the equipment.

  4. Post-Pressurization Dismantling Restrictions:
    Under no circumstances should any elements be rotated after pressurizing, unless explicitly directed by the provided instructions. Rotation can cause the device to dismantle mid dive and can be hazardous and cause potential injury.

  5. Continuous Pressure Gauge Monitoring:
    Always maintain vigilant monitoring of the manometer/pressure gauge to ensure real-time awareness of pressure levels during equipment use.

DURING USE INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Continuous Breathing:
    To ensure the safe use of the equipment, it is imperative to maintain a continuous and steady breathing pattern at all times during your dive.

  2. Temperature-Specific Usage:
    Utilize the Trident Tank in water temperatures above 50°F (10°C).

  3. Individual Use Only:
    The equipment is designed for individual use only, with a maximum permissible depth of 3m (10ft). Failure to comply with this limitation can put you at serious harm and is not advised.

  4. Pressure Gauge Monitoring:
    Regularly check the remaining pressure in the tank using the manometer/pressure gauge. If the remaining pressure falls equal to or below 50 bar (725 PSI), the user must resurface and stay at the water’s surface to ensure an adequate air supply.

  5. Leak Response Protocol:
    In the event of a leak from the Trident Tank, promptly ascend to the surface and discontinue use of the equipment.

  6. Ascent Caution:
    WARNING: Ascend only at a rate slower than the rising air bubbles. Terminate the dive if discomfort in the ears or sinuses is experienced, and refrain from diving if suffering from a cold.

  7. Ascent and Decent Caution:
    Never hold your breath during descent or ascent to prevent potential health risks and injuries

  8. Non-Pressurized Submersion Prohibition:
    Avoid submerging the Lung when it is not pressurized to ensure proper functionality and safety.

POST-USE INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Pressure Release Protocol:
    Release the pressure from the head regulator by pressing the membrane post-use to ensure proper depressurization.

  2. Equipment Rinse Procedure:
    Thoroughly rinse the equipment with clean water to remove any residual salt, debris, or contaminants.

  3. Complete Drying Requirement:
    Allow the equipment to dry completely before storage to prevent the growth of mold or other potential issues.

  4. Cleaning Restrictions:
    Do not utilize aerosols or solvents for cleaning the equipment. When cleaning the head regulator, exercise caution, as a forceful water jet through the mouthpiece can damage the internal membrane. Gentle cleaning is advised.

MASK INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Depth Limitation:
    Do not exceed a maximum depth of 2 meters when utilizing the Trident Tank Mask.

  2. Tank and Snorkel Placement:
    Ensure the Trident Tank is connected to the user’s left-hand side, and the snorkel is on the user’s right-hand side.

  3. Connector Securement:
    Prior to use, ensure the connector is properly secured to prevent any potential issues during operation.

  4. Airtight Seal Assurance:
    Prior to use, confirm an airtight seal to the face. Utilize the straps to achieve a secure fit.

  5. Mask Removal Prohibition:
    Under no circumstances should the mask be removed while in use, ensuring continuous protection during underwater activities.

  6. Valsalva Maneuver Restriction:
    The Trident Tank Mask is designed for shallow water use and does not allow for the use of the Valsalva Maneuver with hands. If equalization is necessary, it is recommended to employ hands-free techniques.

  7. Dual Connection Requirement:
    Ensure that both inlet connection points always have one snorkel and one Trident Tank connected to the Mask to maintain proper functionality and safety at all times.

MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Storage Significance:
    The proper functioning and preservation of your equipment are not solely dependent on usage frequency. Poor storage practices, even during periods of non-use, can lead to significant damage to the device.

  2. Professional Inspection Recommendation:
    It is highly recommended to have your equipment regularly inspected by a professional, with an annual inspection being a compulsory component of the maintenance routine.

  3. Hand Pump Filter Replacement:
    Replace the hand pump filters every 5 refills to ensure optimal performance. If pumping becomes more challenging after a specific number of refills, apply small quantities of silicon grease on the metallic tube of the pump.

  4. Original Parts Replacement Advisement:
    It is mandatory to replace any defective parts with original components. If breathing difficulty arises, unscrew the membrane from the head regulator and adjust sensitivity by tightening the small screw located under the white bar.

  5. Restriction on Self-Repair Attempts:
    Do not attempt to fix your equipment other than by following the instructions provided in this manual. Unauthorized repairs may compromise safety and functionality.

  6. Emphasis on Safety and Equipment Functionality:
    Always note that your safety and the proper functioning of your equipment are contingent upon diligent and regular maintenance.

REFIILL INSTRUCTIONS:
REFLLING AIR TANK:

  1. Accountability for Quality:
    The individual responsible for refilling the tank is fully accountable for ensuring the quality of the compressed air.

  2. Pressure Discrepancy Resolution:
    During tank refilling, if a discrepancy arises between the pressure in the refilling tank and the pressure gauge of the tank being refilled, utilize the higher of the two values.

  3. Pressure Limitation Warning:
    The Trident Tank should not be refilled with a pressure exceeding 200 bar (3000 psi). It is the responsibility of the person refilling the tank to ensure strict adherence to this limit. Exceeding this pressure can cause serious injury or death.

HIGH PRESSURE PUMP REFILLING INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Connect the pump’s female clip securely to the male clip of the head regulator, ensuring a secure connection.
  2. Pump until you reach the desired pressure.
  3. Open the pump valve to release pressure, allowing the removal of the clip from the Trident Tank.

ADDITIONAL SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

  • Avoid continuous use of the pump 9more than 5 minutes), to allow for necessary cooling periods.
  • Between pumping cycles, release pressure to facilitate cooling (while keeping the tank connected).
  • Maintain an optimum pumping cycle of 2 minutes 30 seconds, followed by a brief pause, before resuming pumping.
  • Use only Trident Tank high-pressure manual pumps for use with your Trident Tank.
  • Disconnect the pump when not in use and ensure the manometer/pressure gauge of the hand pump aligns with that of the air tank cylinder pressure gauge.
  • erify the absence of dust, water traces, or foreign elements in the clips when protections are removed.
  • Incorrect clip orientation may lead to micro-leaks; reposition the clip to prevent stress.
  • Change filters within the cartridge after five full tank fillings; foam filters and carbon balls are provided with the pump.

AIR COMPRESSOR PUMP REFILLING INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Plug in a battery or the unit directly to a power supply.
  2. Attach the high-pressure hose to the compressor by securing the female clip to the male clip, ensuring a secure connection.
  3. Connect the female clip of the cartridge to the male clip of the head regulator, ensuring a secure connection.
  4. Fully screw in the brass decompression valve.
  5. Adjust the Bar valve so the unit is not pressurized more than 200 bar.
  6. Start the compressor by pressing the power switch.
  7. Regularly compare the compressor pressure with that of the Trident Tank.
  8. Allow the compressor to run until the desired pressure (maximum 200 bar/3000 psi) is reached.
  9. Unscrew the brass decompression valve to release pressure from the hose.
  10. Disconnect the tank from the cartridge by releasing the female clip.
  11. Replace filters within the cartridge with a new mix of molecular sieve and active coal.
    WARNING: Pause filling if the temperature of the Trident Tank or the Compressor becomes high.

STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Storage:
    After thorough drying, place the products in a clean and sealed container or bag. Store these items in a dry, well ventilated area shielded from light, maintaining a temperature range between 5°C and 35°C (41°F and 95°F).

  2. Valve Closure and Pressure Release:
    Keep the valve closed during storage and ensure that the top compartment is not under pressure.

  3. Safe Storage Area:
    Avoid storing the products in proximity to gasoline, oils, or other chemicals. Additionally, refrain from storage in dusty or sandy environments.

  4. Tank Positioning:
    Position the Trident Tank without any constraints, and the tank should be stored in a vertical position with the valve at the top. During storage, detach the first stage regulator from the valve and cover the output with the provided cap.

  1. Non-Adherence to Scuba Diving Guidelines:
    Failing to adhere to fundamental scuba diving guidelines poses a serious risk of drowning or physical harm that may lead to fatal consequences.

  2. Undetectable Damage Risk after Impact:
    In the event of an impact, the equipment may sustain damage that is not visually noticeable. Any uncertainty about the equipment’s condition should prompt professional inspection by a qualified specialist.

  3. Alterations or Modifications:
    It is strictly prohibited to alter or modify any part of the Trident Tankequipment. Unauthorized modifications may compromise safety and proper functioning.

  4. Non-Interchangeable Parts Policy:
    Do not mix parts of the Trident Tank with other diving equipment, or vice versa. Each component is designed for specific compatibility, and interchangeability may result in hazardous consequences.

  5. Water Entry Prevention:
    Do not allow water to enter the equipment, as this can lead to malfunctions and pose a risk to the diver’s safety.
    Diligent water ingress prevention measures should be maintained at all times.

  6. Incidental or Consequential Damages:
    In no event shall Trident Tank beliable for incidental or consequential damages as a result of the inproper use, storage and maintenance of Trident Tank Products.

  7. Acknowledgment of Liability Limitations:
    By purchasing this product, it is agreed and understood that, under no circumstances, will Trident Tank, its distributors, or retailers, be held liable for any personal injuries resulting from the operation of the Trdent Tank, or for any other damages, whether direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential, even if Tident Tank has been advised of such damages.

Failing to adhere to these instructions can expose you to dangers that may have serious consequences for your health.
Scuba diving entails inherent risks, particularly when conducted without a comprehensive understanding of safety rules.
This document outlines essential tips to enhance safety during dives. Qualified diving instructors may provide additional guidance.
SAFETY GUIDELINES:

  • Prior to diving, consult with a doctor to assess your fitness for diving, especially if you have a history of cardiovascular disease, asthma, diabetes, heart disease, or other medical conditions. Certain temporary conditions, such as colds or sinusitis, may also warrant caution. Avoid diving if you have conditions like peptic ulcer disease, retinal detachment, glaucoma, enlarged spleen, or during pregnancy.
  • Refrain from flying or traveling to high altitudes on the same day as diving.
  • Maintain a continuous breathing pattern throughout the dive and regularly monitor your pressure gauge.
  • Do not use earplugs and avoid diving with temporary conditions affecting the nose, throat, ears, or teeth.

GUIDELINES DURING YOUR DIVE:

  • Do not exceed your limits, the Trident Tank equipment is not designed for commercial purposes.
  • Manage your breathing and ascend gradually if experiencing shortness of breath.
  • Equip yourself suitably with the right mask, flippers, and consider carrying an emergency buoy.
  • Wear appropriate wetsuits or dry suits in cold water to reduce potential problems.
  • Avoid diving in rough or choppy waters, and check current and weather forecasts before diving.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR COMPLETING YOUR DESCENT BELOW THE SURFACE:

  • Take a breath and push that breath out against your closed mouth and nose while straining (likes if you’re trying to poop).
  • Hold for 15 to 20 seconds.
  • Open your nose and mouth and breathe out naturally.
  • Completing this step helps to equalize pressure, preventing barotrauma.
    WARNING: It’s important to note that while this maneuver is commonly used to equalize pressure during changes in altitude, it should be performed with caution, and individuals with certain health conditions should consult with a medical professional before attempting it. Additionally, if these instructions are intended for a specific context, such as scuba diving, it’s crucial to follow the guidelines and recommendations provided by qualified instructors and relevant safety protocols.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR COMPLETING YOUR ASCENT TO THE SURFACE:

  • Pinch your nose and swallowing during the ascent to release pressure
  • Maintain a flexible and continuous breathing pattern to prevent pulmonary overpressure accidents.
  • Gradual ascent is crucial, especially for experienced users requiring decompression after significant time under water.

PRODUCT WARRANTY

PRODUCT WARRANTY:
When you purchase a product from Trident Tank, it is covered by our Consumer Product Warranty (CPW). The terms of the CPW are influenced by statutory rights and obligations, including but not limited to The Australian Consumer Law (ACL). In case of a conflict between the CPW and a statutory provision, the terms of the CPW prevail to the fullest extent permissible by law.
Distribution of Product Manual:
Customers receive a copy of the Product Manual (Manual) every time they purchase products from Trident Tank. The Manual is essential for product usage, and it is implicit in the CPW that customers must use and care for their products strictly following the Manual.
If you have acquired a product and you do not have a copy of the Manual, a copy can be obtained either by:
(a) downloading it free of charge from our website; or
(b) contacting us on webchat or email
General Terms and Conditions:
Trident Tank supplies goods and services solely for personal and domestic use. Trident Tank guarantees that, when used and cared for according to the Manual, all goods and services are fit for their intended purpose. It is essential that you carefully read the Manual before using any of our products. It is implicit in the CPW that customers shall use and care for their products strictly in accordance with the Manual. Trident Tank is not liable for any loss or damage to property or persons that occurs as a result (either inwhole or in part) from use and/or care of productsotherwise than in accordance with the Manual.
The CPW duration is for a period of 12 months.
Trident Tank excludes liability for loss and/or damage arising from various factors, including improper use, misuse, and failure to follow the Manual.
How To Claim Under CPW:
To claim under the CPW, customers must follow the specified claims procedure, including completing the online warranty form and providing relevant details. Claims must be lodged promptly after discovering a potential defect, and customers must cease using the product until the claim is resolved.
What Trident Tank Will Do About Defective Products:
Trident Tank aims to process claims quickly, and depending on the reason for defect; the resolution may involve repair, replacement, or refund. If a product is replaced or repaired, the warranty term on the replaced or repaired item does not start again.

What Trident Tank Will Do If a Product is found to be Non-Defective:
If a product is found not to be defective or otherwise covered by the CPW then:
(a) Trident Tank shall be entitled to charge an inspection fee in accordance with its then current schedule of workshop fees for repair works;
(b) The inspection fee must be paid before the product is returned to the customer;
(c) the customer shall be liable for the cost of return of the item to the customer.
Specific Exclusions and Limitations On The CPW
Consumers must be mindful that consumer guarantees do not apply where the consumer:
(a) got what they asked for but simply:
(i) changed their mind
(ii) found the product cheaper somewhere else
(iii) decided they did not like the purchase
(iv) decided they have no use for the purchase
(b) misused a product in any way and the misuse caused the problem (in whole or in part);
(c) cause the product to become of unacceptable quality by failing to take reasonable steps to prevent damage
(d) cause the damage through abnormal use or failure to follow the care instructions

Circumstances in which the CPW will expressly not apply include but are not limited to the following:
(a) If the product has not been used or maintained in accordance with the Manual;
(b) If the factory-applied serial number has been altered or removed from the product;
(c) The product has been damaged due to impact (accidental or deliberate) or force;
(d) The product has been damaged due to natural or unnatural UV exposure, excessive temperatures and any other type of heat exposure;
(e) The product has been damaged due to foreign object damage, exposure to harmful chemicals, water absorption, natural discolouration, extreme weather and environmental conditions, accident, misuse, abuse or other neglect, alterations or repairs made by any party other than Trident Tank, general wear and tear;
(f) The product suffers further damage as a result of the customer’s continued use after a defect or damage arises that would have been covered by the CPW;
(g) Lost parts or accessories;
(h) Loss or damage (howsoever arising) to any product outside of Australia;
(i) Loss or damage (howsoever arising) to anyproduct being used for a purpose other than that of personal, domestic or household use or consumption by Consumers;
(j) Consequential loss or damage to third party hardware or accessories fitted to one of our products, or by damage to one of our products caused by third party hardware or accessories.
