Important Safety Precautions

When using any electrical appliance, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:

  1. READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING YOUR Master Electric Grill.

  2. The cord to this appliance should be plugged into a 220-240V AC electrical outlet only.

  3. This appliance is for household use only. Do not use outdoors or for commercial purposes.

  4. Do not touch hot surfaces.

  5. To avoid any risk of electrical shock, do not immerse the cord or plug into water or other liquids.

  6. Close supervision is necessary when using this appliance near children.

  7. Disconnect the power plug from any power outlets when this device is not in use or before cleaning. Allow it to cool before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.

  8. Do not operate this appliance if the cord or plug is damaged or if it malfunctions. If there is any damage of any sort, send the unit to the nearest authorized service center for examination, repair or adjustment in order to avoid a hazard. (ONLY qualified technicians should open up the unit.)

  9. The use of accessory attachments not recommended or sold by the appliance manufacturer may cause injuries.

  10. Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of a table or counter. Do not let it touch any hot surfaces.

  11. 11. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.

  12. This appliance is not intended to be used with external timers or separate remote
    control systems.

  13. Unplug the unit when you are finished using it.
    14. Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot oil or other hot liquids.

This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.

  15. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.

  16. The temperature of accessible surfaces may be high when the appliance is operating

  17. CAUTION: This appliance generates heat during use. Proper precautions must be taken to prevent the risk of burns, fires or other damage to property caused by touching the sides or top while in use or during cooling.

  18. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.

  19. This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:
    staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments; farm houses; by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments; bed and breakfast type  environments.

Other Important Safety Notes

The power cord attached to your device is limited in length in order to prevent issues where it gets tangled or a person can trip over it. Longer cords or extension cables may be used as well assuming one uses proper care and caution. When using an extension cord please take the following precautions:

  1. Make sure that the electrical rating of the cord is at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance.
  2. Longer cords should be placed carefully so that they are not unintentionally pulled or tripped over.
  3. To ensure continued protection against risk of electric shock, connect to properly grounded outlets only.
  4. Do not modify the plug in any way.

CAUTION : This appliance gets hot during operation and retains heat for some time after turning OFF. Always use oven mitts when handling hot materials and allow metal parts to cool before cleaning. Do not place materials of any sort on top of this appliance while it is operating or while it is hot.

  1. All users of this appliance should read and understand this instruction manual before operating or cleaning this appliance.
  2. Do not leave this appliance unattended during use.

Description of Parts

Before First Use

  1. Carefully unpack your Electric Grill . Remove all packaging materials.
  2. Place the Electric Grill on a flat, level surface close to a 220-240volt wall outlet.
  3. Wipe off Cooking Plate with a damp cloth so that they are clean and free of any manufacturing oils that may be left on the surface.
  4. Wipe the outside of the Electric Grill Housing with a soft damp cloth. NEVER immerse the Electric Grill, power cord and Thermostat Connector in water or anyotherliquid.
  5. Plug into the wall outlet and heat for 5-10 minutes. This will burn off anyresiduefrom the manufacturing process. NOTE: There may be a small amount of smoke or odor during thistime but it will not last longer than a few minutes.

Using Your Grill

  1. Plug the attached power cable into a 220-240V AC electrical outlet to preheat. The red POWER ON light will illuminate.
    NOTE: When your Electric Grill is heated for the first time, it may emit smoke or a distinct odor. This is normal and should disappear after 1 or 2 uses. This does not affect the safety of the appliance. However, as it may affect the flavor of the first batch of cooks prepared in the Frying Pan, it is recommended that these be discarded.

  2. While preheating, prepare food. When the Red light is OFF, (about 5-10 minutes) the Frying Pan is preheated and ready for cooking.

  3. Since your grill uses non-stick cooking plates, the use of oil is not necessary. However, depending on the recipe, some food be more difficult to remove, and thus it is recommended to brush the bottom of the cooking plates with vegetable oil so that your food are easier to remove after baking.

  4. Drop in the meat, vegetable or Beef etc. and allow your grill to cook. The red light will cycle on and off as the unit maintains cooking temperatures.
    NOTE: As your meat cook, steam will be emitted from the food. This is normal. 5. After 5 to 10 minutes, allow your food to cool for 1 minute while the unit is still plugged in, wearing a protective oven mitt or potholder for protection, Remove the food using a heat proof plastic or wooden spatula To protect the premium quality non-stick surfaces, use only heat proof plastic or a wooden spatula to remove food. The use of metal utensils may damage non- stick cooking plates.
    NOTE: If additional foods are to be cooked, wear a protective oven mitt and wipe the unit clean with a dry cloth or paper towel. Keep the grill closed to retain heat.

  5. When all food cooking is complete, unplug the power cord from the electric outlet.

  6. Do not clean the unit until it cools fully.

Cleaning and Maintenance
Other than the cleaning methods mentioned in this manual, no other servicing or maintenance of your device should be required. Repairs, if necessary must be performed by an authorized service center.
Caution: Do not immerse the appliance, its cord or its plug or all the connector in water. Before cleaning, when you are finished using your appliance, unplug the power cord from the wall outlet and allow it to cool completely. In order to prevent food residue buildup, clean your table grillafter each use.Wipe the inside and the wells of your table grill with a clean, soapy sponge or cloth. Remove soapy residue with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly. To remove stubborn stains use a nylon brush or similar utensil safe for nonstick surfaces. Do not use steel  wool or scouring pads. Do not use abrasive cleansers. Wipe the exterior with a clean,
damp cloth.

The cooking plates should be cleaned and conditioned before each heating. Brush the cooking plates with a clean, soft pastry brush or cloth. To condition the plates, lightly coat the cooking surfaces with solid vegetable shortening or vegetable oil.

  1. Remove stubborn stains with a plastic mesh puff or pad. A clean round kitchen brush or a toothbrush works well to remove baked-on batter from the molds. For best results, use only products with directions stating they are safe for cleaning non-stick cooking surfaces. Do not use steel wool or coarse scouring pads. Do not clean when unit is hot or in use.
    The exterior finish should be cleaned with a non-abrasive cleaner and a soft, damp cloth. Dry thoroughly.
