Equipment and quality features:

Pre-filter: The cleanable pre-filter (air filter cover) removes all larger particles and thus ensures a longer service life of the HEPA filter.
Combination filter:
A) HEPA unit A very good filter, that captures and filters particles up to 0.0003mm in size. This includes pollen, germs and dust with a purity rate of 99.9% !!!
B) Active carbon & catalyst combination: Absorbs and cleans many types of smoke and odours (e.g. cigarette smoke) and breaks down up to 90% of toxic fumes (e.g. formaldehyde, H2S, NH3).
Ultra-violet light: Eliminates many of the most common types of bacteria and viruses. It also ensures that the filter itself can never become a breeding ground for germs!
Anion exchanger: Produces approx. 3 million anions per second, which proactively combat smoke and other dirt particles in the room.
Timer function: function for determining the remaining time (2 hrs, 4 hrs or 8 hrs) 3-speed levels: III (Strong), II (Medium) and I (Weak).

Important safety instructions:

• Make sure that the plug is cleanly and properly connected to the socket before using the appliance!

• Only use the recommended voltage for operating the unit!

• Supervise the air purifier when children are near the unit !- Watch out for electricity, never enter or insert metal objects into the appliance!

• Never reach near the plug or socket with wet hands!

• Only qualified personnel or electricians are allowed to open the unit!

• Protect the unit from all moisture and wetness!

• Make sure that highly flammable substances (e.g. gases/oils etc.) are never in the vicinity of the unit!

• Do not expose the filter to insect spray, as it could later release the insect spray unintentionally.
  Ensure that there is sufficient air supply to the unit, otherwise, it can lead to a
  reduction in performance and, in the worst case, to overheating and/or fire!

• Never look directly into the switched-on UV light, it can cause injuries to the eye!

• Switch off the appliance and unplug the mains plug if you want to clean the appliance!

• Only clean the appliance with mild cleaning agents!

• Avoid using the unit at high room temperatures or in very humid conditions!

• Ventilate the room regularly. Especially if it is a very airtight room or there is a high oxygen consumption (e.g. fireplace, gas cooker, many people etc.).

• Switch off the unit before unplugging it from the mains!

• Do not make any independent modifications to the unit or the cables !

• If you are not going to use the unit for a long time, switch it off and disconnect the mains plug!

Please switch off the unit immediately and disconnect it from the mains/power supply if anything seems to be wrong !!! In this case, please contact a specialist and do not attempt to repair the unit yourself !!!

General instructions for use

• Place the air purifier at a distance of approx. 30 cm from walls and furniture!
• Keep a minimum distance of approx. one metre from the TV and/or PC.

Inserting/changing the filters
Pull out the mains plug.

2.2. Open the rear cover or the pre-filter.

2.3. Insert the main filter neatly into the unit. Make sure that the white HEPA filter surface faces outwards towards you.

Switching on the air purifier

1. Insert the plug into the socket.
2.  Press the power switch to switch on the unit.
3.  Set your desired air circulation using the operating strength adjustment button.

I = Weak fan strength (level 1)
II = Medium fan strength (level 2)
III = Strong fan strength (level 3)

Timer function

Determining the remaining time: Press the TIMER button during operation to select the desired remaining time of the air purifier. (You can select 2 hours,  4 hours or 8 hours of remaining time). After this selected operating time has elapsed, the unit switches off automatically.
Child lock/locking of the buttons
Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds to activate the child lock on the unit.
To cancel the child lock, press and hold the power button again for 5 seconds.

Notes for the filters:

1. With an average use of approx. 8 hours per day, the filters last up to one year! In more heavily soiled rooms, e.g. smokers’ households, the filters may  have to be replaced after approx. 4 – 6 months.
2. Change the main filter when it is dirty. You can see this by opening the rear filter panel. If the previously snow-white filter side is now dark brown,  black or smeary yellow, the main filter should be changed. In addition, the air purifier indicates when the filter should be changed by a flashing  operating power button.
3. Then (after changing the filter) press and hold the timer button for 5 seconds during operation to “reset” the unit.
   A sound confirms the reset. Never wash the main filter!

Troubleshooting:

The unit itself emits an unpleasant odour:
The UV lamp produces a certain odour. This odour is typical of its function and generally arises during its operation.
The anion function cannot be smelled by most people. However, sensitive people perceive a certain “smell”. This is because the anions slightly electrostatically charge the air (similar to after a thunderstorm).
FINALLY, A NEW AIR CLEANER STILL HAS A LIGHT OWN Smell (fresh plastic, new engine, new paint, etc.). HOWEVER, THIS NEW SMELL DISSIPATES WITHIN A VERY SHORT TIME !!!
It takes too long for smoke and/or odours to be neutralised
In general, our air purifier is well suited for odour and smoke reduction. But please note that the result/end result of our air purifier always depends on how much odour particles are flowing in and how the air circulation is at your place !
This is because the inserted filter absorbs/removes only a part of all odour particles in one pass. Therefore, a general rule is three filter cycles until most of the odour particles have been absorbed.
(Note: When filtering dust and particles, one filter pass is sufficient to clean the air, as all particles are retained by the HEPA filter = 99% effectiveness. For odours, the carbon & catalyst filter area is mainly used, and here the filter medium needs approx. three filter passes per cubic metre until one can speak of clean air = 33% effectiveness !!!).
It is also important to remember that odour patterns can already be present in the furnishings – and depending on the nature of the individual materials, it can take a considerable amount of time for them to release the odours again.
(The air purifier only purifies odours that are circulated or filtered through it. )

Other:

Warranty statement:
Notwithstanding the statutory warranty claims, the manufacturer grants a warranty in accordance with the laws of your country, but at least 1 year (in Germany 2 years for private individuals). The warranty begins on the date of sale of the appliance to the end user.
The guarantee only covers defects that are due to material or manufacturing faults.
Warranty repairs may only be carried out by authorised customer service. To make a warranty claim, please enclose the original sales receipt (with the date of sale).
Excluded from the guarantee are:

• Normal wear
• Improper applications, such as overloading the appliance or non-approved accessories.
• Damage due to external influences, use of force or foreign objects
• Damage caused by non-observance of the operating instructions, e.g. connection to an incorrect mains voltage or non-observance of the assembly instructions.
• Completely or partially dismantled units

The air purifier has been tested and itself and/or parts thereof have been manufactured under the following (safety) standards: Of course with CE (EMC + LVD) conformity. CE (EMC) conformity was tested according to:

Correct disposal of this product:

Within the EU, this symbol indicates that this product should not be disposed of with household waste. Waste equipment contains valuable recyclable materials that should be recycled. Furthermore, the environment or human health should not be polluted by uncontrolled waste disposal. Therefore, please dispose of old appliances via suitable collection systems or send the appliance for disposal to the place where you purchased it. This will then send the device for recycling.
