Product Usage
Step 1 : Preparation
Before using the product, ensure that you have the following items:
- Kabel til jernbaneskinne, TB5 komplett sveisepar, signal, 12 lb ASCE, 1 tapp jordingsterminal arrangement
- Steel, Graphite, Thermoplastic material
- 3/16 Bondstrand conductor
- Soldering material (SB25)
- Handle clamp (C105B)
- Conductor sleeve (SBS12C)
- Bond clip (S2659 x 2)
- Hammer die (SBD50)
Step 2 : Installation
- Attach the Kabel til jernbaneskinne to the rail type 12 lb ASCE.
- Connect the bond terminal style 1 tapp to the conductor size 3/16 Bondstrand.
- Place the conductor sleeve (SBS12C) on the conductor outer diameter (4.8 mm).
- Use the handle clamp (C105B) to secure the conductor and bond terminal.
- If necessary, use the bond clip (S2659 x 2) to further secure the connection.
Step 3: Welding
Ensure that you have the TB5 welder style and the welding material (SB25) ready.
- Insert the TB5 mold into the welder style.
- Place the Kabel til jernbaneskinne with the installed bond terminal into the TB5 mold.
- Apply the welding material (SB25) to the connection.
- Use the hammer die (SBD50) to ensure a secure weld.
