COLOUR STRAND TEST

To determine the desired colour as well as the required colouring time beforehand, we recommend thatthe following test be carried out:

Select or cut a strand of hair of about 3 cm.
Apply a small amount of the mixture in equal parts of dye and developer
Rinse the strand of hair after 20 minutes. If your hair is very strong,grey, or has been previously dyed, wait another 10 minutes.
Make a note of the waiting time needed to achieve the desired shade.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Before starting the COLOURING process we advise you to put a towel or plastic wrap over your shoulders.
CLEARÉ INSTITUTE® COLOUR CLINUANCE® is the only hair dye that provides all the steps of the COLOURING process. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT to follow the instructions, completing all six steps from A to F, in order to achieve an optimal result.

PREPARATION OF THE MIXTURE

Pour the complete tube of Colouring (1) into the Colour Developer bottle (2). In very hot weather, it is advisable to make the mixture in a plastic or glass bowl, using plastic utensils, never metal ones. Shake the mixture vigorously for 2 minutes until both ingredients are completely mixed. Then unscrew the top of the cap (in the case of mixing it in the applicator bottle) and use the entire mixture IMMEDIATELY. DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, store the mixture or keep it inside the completely closed container.
If you want to dye the roots first, it is important to make the mixture in a plastic or glass bowl and apply the dye with a brush. Wait 20 minutes, then apply to the rest of the hair with a brush and leave on for 10 minutes.

COLOURING PROCESS

Apply the mixture (1 + 2) starting at the roots and separating the hair strand by strand with the help of the applicator bottle. Massage the hair to spread the mixture evenly. An optimal result depends largely on this step It is recommended to use the entire mixture even if you have short hair. On already coloured hair, apply the dye to the roots and leave on for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, apply to the rest of the hair and leave on for 10 minutes.
TOTAL APPLICATION TIME: 30 min.
(In this case, always mix in a separate bowl, never in the applicator bottle). On natural hair, apply the mixture all over the hair and leave on for 30 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water until the water runs clear.
Then wash your hair with the fixing shampoo (3) and rinse again. CLEAR

6 Finish off the colouring process by applying the regenerating mask (4) Leave on for at least two minutes and rinse your hair again.

Spray the exclusive Restructuring Serum ( 5 ) on your hair to finish off the COLOURING process and protect it from external aggressions, leaving it soft and shiny.
Use two to three times a week between each COLOURING.

PRECAUTIONS FOR USE. READ BEFORE USE.
HAIR COLOURANTS CAN CAUSE SEVERE ALLERGIC REACTIONS.
IMPORTANT: Contains phenylenediamines and hydrogen peroxide. Read and follow instructions. This product is not intended for use on persons under the age of 16. Temporary “black henna” tattoos may increase the risk of allergy.
The proportion for mixing colourant and colour developer must always be 1:1.5.
DO NOT COLOUR YOUR HAIR IF:

You have a rash on your face or sensitive, irritated and damaged scalp.
You have ever experienced any reaction after colouring your hair.
You have experienced any reaction to a temporary “black henna” tatoo in the past.

SKIN SENSITIVITY TEST: ANY COSMETIC PRODUCT CAN CAUSE AN UNEXPECTED ALLERGIC REACTION AND, FOR THIS REASON, A SKIN SENSITIVITY TEST MUST BE CARRIED OUT BEFORE EACH AND EVERY USE, FOR 48 HOURS, BEFORE COLOURING YOUR HAIR.
Be aware that even if a sensitivity test has been carried out you may still experience an allergic reaction when you colour your hair. The sensitivity test is an important precaution but it is not a guarantee to avoid future allergic reactions.

Clean a small area behind the earlobe with a cotton wool swab and a little alcohol.
Using utensils and a plastic container, such as a plastic cap, mix equal parts of a small amount of dye and an equal amount of Colour Developer.
For this test, DO NOT use the entire contents of the containers, a very small amount of both is sufficient. Do not use metal utensils.
Mix both components until a homogeneous gel is obtained.
Apply the mixture to the cleaned area. Once it has dried, repeat the operation a few more times.
Keep this mixture on for 48 hours.
If after this time, there have been no skin alterations, such as inflammation, redness, itching, eczema, rash, etc… you can use the Dye. IF YOU HAVE

EXPERIENCED ANY OF THESE REACTIONS, DO NOT DYE YOUR HAIR UNTIL YOU HAVE CONSULTED A DOCTOR. SPECIFICS CAUTIONS:
If you experience a reaction during the application, such as stinging, burning, irritation or a rash on the scalp, rinse immediately and discontinue use. If you experience difficulty breathing, rapidly spreading skin rash, dizzines or faintness and/or swelling to eyes/face, seek immediate medical attention. Before colouring your hair again you should consult a doctor.
IN RARE CASES, THE USE OF HAIR DYES HAS BEEN ASSOCIATED WITH SKIN DEPIGMENTATION (BLEACHING OR LOSS OF SKIN COLOUR). THIS MAY BE TEMPORARY OR PERMANENT. IF YOU NOTICE ANY DEPIGMENTATION OR ALLERGIC REACTION SUCH AS PAIN OR SEVERE ITCHING, DISCONTINUE USE IMMEDIATELY.

Always wear gloves provided in kit.
Store the product at room temperature and keep away from heat and light.
For any question related to your individual sensitivity consult a doctor.
Avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs, rinse immediately and thoroughly with plenty of water. If you wear contact lenses remove them before rinsing your eyes with water. Visit your doctor if irritation persists.
This product is designed for use in the scalp area only. Do not use to dye eyelashes or eyebrows or facial hair or any other areas of hair.
If your hair has been permed, bleached or relaxed recently, wait at least 2 weeks before applying this product.
Prepare and use in a well-ventilated area.
After application of the mixture rinse your hair thoroughly until the water is clear.
If your hair has been previously coloured with henna or a progressive colour, do not use it until the previous colour has completely grown / removed.
Do not use on children.
Keep out of the reach of children.
