WARNINGS:

  • Keep all objects at least 0.5 metre from the front, sides and rear of the appliance.

  • Do not block air inlets or outlets in any manner. Check the openings from time to time for accumulated dust. Ensure long shag carpet does not obstruct airflow under the appliance.

  • Do not place appliance close to a radiant heat source.

  • Do not insert foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock, fire or damage to the appliance.

  • Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord, plug or after the appliance malfunctions or has been dropped or damaged in any manner. Return to a qualified electrical person for examination, electrical or mechanical adjustment, service or repair.

  • This appliance is intended for household use only, not for commercial or industrial use.

  • Do not store appliance while it is still hot.

  • Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

    Arrange cord away from traffic areas so that it will not be tripped over.

  • Do not twist, kink or wrap the cord around the appliance, as this may cause the insulation to weaken and split. Always ensure that all cord has been removed from any cord storage area.

  • lf the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a qualified electrical person in order to avoid a hazard.

  • Do not use this appliance outdoors, or on wet surfaces. Avoid spilling liquid on the appliance.

  • Always switch off the appliance at the controls and at the power outlet then unplug appliance.

  • Do not use this appliance with programmer, timer or any other device that switches the appliance on automatically since a fire tisk exists if the appliance is covered or position incorrectly.

  • Important – This appliance is intended for floor use only. Do not mount on ceiling or walls.

  • The appliance must not be located immediately below a socket – outlet. Do not use this appliance in the immediate surroundings of a bath, a shower or a swimming pool.

  • Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only switch on/off the appliance provided that it has been placed or installed in its intended normal operating position and they have been given supervision or instructions concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall not plug in, regulate and clean the appliance or perform user maintenance.

HOW THE AIR PURIFIER WORKS:

  1. The air purifier removes up to 99.6% of airborne allergens as small as 0.3 microns, including rag weed pollen, grass pollen, tree pollen, household dust, dust mite debris, pet dander and smoke from the air passing through the filter.
  2. This appliance has an independent ionizer feature which, when turned on, releases negative ions into outgoing filtered air to help the air purification process.

PRODUCT FEATURES:

Three Speed Settings
For optimum air filtration, operate your air purifier continuously on the highest setting. Its rugged motor has been designed to give many years of use. For quieter operation (such as in a bedroom), select the sleep mode.
Timer
The timer allows you to run your air purifier at your convenience, for up to 8 hours. With 4 settings including 1HR, 2HR, 4HR and SHR. If timer options are not chosen the Air Purifier will turn off automatically after 24 hours. lonizer

PRE-OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Carefully unpack your appliance.
  • Select a firm level place where there are no obstructions to the air inlet or filtered air outlet.
  • Press the tab of air inlet grill, and then pull the air inlet grill backwards to remove it.
  • Detach the filters and then unpack the plastic bag carefully.
  • Replace the filters back in position, make sure that the carbon filter is fitted first; then combined HEPA/sponge filter with sponge facing out.
  • Replace the air inlet grill back in position.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Plug into a 220-240V electrical outlet, two beeps can be heard.

  2. Press down the power switch, one beep can be heard and its corresponding LED turns on, the air purifier starts to run under the default speed (Medium setting). If you want to select other settings, you can press ‘Speed control button’ to select your desired speed setting (High setting and Sleep mode). After select, its corresponding LED will turn on.
    Note: It is suggested to make the air purifier run under the default setting (Medium setting) if it is needed to be run continuously. For quieter operation (such as in a bedroom), select the sieep mode. When in an environment with polluted air, it is suggested to select High setting to quicken the air circulation.

  3. You can activate the timer after you turn on the air purifier and select your required speed setting by following the operation as below: press down “Timer button’ on the control panel, one beep can be heard. There are 4 settings including 1HR, 2HR, 4HR and SHR. After select your required timing, its corresponding LED turns on. When the timer expires, the air purifier will power off automatically and the LED will extinguish.

  4. To release negative ions into the filtered air, press the lonizer button’, and one beep can be heard and its corresponding LED will turn on.
    Note: The ionizer will not work unless the air purifier is running.

  5. If you want to stop the air purifier from running, press ‘power switch’ and the air purifier will stop working after hearing one beep.

Note: All the indicators will dim when the air purifier works under “Sleep mode’ for some time.

FILTER REPLACEMENT:

  1. On average, the filters needs to be replaced every 6 months. Filter life will vary depending on air quality and usage.
  2. Turn off and unplug the appliance before attempting to replace the filters.
  3. Press the tab of air inlet grill to open the grill and then remove the filters.
  4. Discard the old filters. Do not attempt to clean.
  5. Remove any plastic bags from new filters (dispose of bags carefully) and place carbon filter first. Then place combined HEPA/sponge filter (so sponge is facing out).
  6. Replace the air inlet grill back in position.

CLEANING & MAINTENANCE:

  1. Turn the appliance off and unplug it before cleaning.
  2. The outside of the appliance can be cleaned with a soft, clean dampened cloth.
  3. The filtered air outlet and air inlet grill on the unit can be cleaned of dust with a small, soft brush.
  4. If you wish to clean the inside of the appliance, please only use a dry, soft cloth to wipe it down.
  5. Do not wash the HEPA filter.

WARNING: Do not allow moisture to come in contact with the main housing of the appliance.

TROUBLESHOOTING:

PROBLEM

  • Unit will not operate.
  • Decreased air flow.

SOLUTION

  • Check to make sure the unit is plugged in.
  • Check to make sure the unit is on.
  • Make sure the filter is properly installed and firmly close the air inlet grill.
  • Check condition of the filter and replace if necessary.
  • Check to ensure nothing is blocking the air inlet and filtered air outlet.
  • Please replace the HEPA filter if it has been operated for more than one year.
  • Be sure the plastic bag has been removed from the filter.

  4. If the plug or the mains cable of this appliance is damaged do not use and dispose of the appliance responsibly.
